  • Hello! Sorry I ain't posted for so long! I'm still here! Managed to make £100 in sales this week and got another £30 coming my way - subject to collection. Padding has come to a standstill at the moment :( what with Christmas coming etc feel like a dog chasing their tale lol decided that 2013 will be my year tho and plan to get an a4 diary and write all birthdays and outgoings etc in it but for now I'm just muddling through! We've started to meal plan and use the calculator when doing our big shop and have managed to reduce weekly shop to £30-£35

Sorry for messed up MSG lol I'm on my phone but I will get on the laptop later and catch up properly, how is everyone else xxxx

  • managed to make another sale of £20 (again subject to collection) so all in all thats £50 made this weekend.

so as i said in my last post im going to buy an a4 diary with a week view, im going to make a list of birthdays / special events and put postet notes on the front of each month detailing any one offs for that month. Also got my yearly spreadsheets which I am going to start in January.

Im abit annoyed with myself as I have loan with halifax and when i log onto online banking it shows me the outstanding balance, anyway i noticed this hasnt been going down so i have looked abit further into it ands the balance of my original borrowing and doesnt include my interest so thats really annoying as I had got it in my head it finished earlier that it actually does :(

Anyway off to take more pics of items to sell - wish me luck x

Hi Homemade- just read all of your diary.

I hope your hubby gets a job soon. You have had some real ups and downs but it is great to see you are still so motivated.

    Good luck x

If i had any wise words it would be just keep going and yes occasionally you will fall ( i did lots of times and still do) but just get up again and start again, a diary does help, I still look back through mine and think i have stopped doing that and it helps me stay on track. I still worry about money, but i have a better NO button now to myself!

    and good luck!

  • Thanks Orange Fairy, hubs has his first interview next week so fingers crossed it leads to something!

Out of debt I have been on and off the debt busting wagon since 2009, difference is now i have a daughter so need to keep going! thanks so much!

hope everyone is having a good weekend, i am trying to make some more sales from unwanted items! had a good run this last couple of weeks but think things will be slowing down now - grrr.

At the moment we're just about breaking even, its frustrating as i really want to make some overpayments - guess i just need to be patient and remind myself that this is all temporary. Once hubs has a job it will be a whole different ball game!

Ive nealry done the christmas shopping now - i have i think 7 people left to buy for! I have to say I am pleased with myself on that front as I set myself a £10 budget per person and we have stuck to it and even in some cases gone below it which is fab!

Also we have started menu planning and doing a shopping list and the last two weeks our weekly shop has come in at under £35 - for a family of three i thought that was pretty good? what do people think? that also includes pets food xx
