Ah thanks scuff, bet your shattered. I think im just feeling the pinch as OH is out of work, once he's earning again things will be alot better but I am just feeling stressed about it all - and its caused an arguement today :-/ think I will stop thinking about money for tonight and try and have an early night! xx

Oh homemade try not to get down about it. Overdrafts are the most evil of all debts as they are a real trap. Mine isn't in my sig as it changes every month and won't be gone until our other debt is as it would be impossible to do. You are doing so well, don't you forget that.

We use our overdraft to live as its now part of our living cost ie food! We are just getting out of it by spending as little as possible. Hard though when you have people spending around you! But at leat we know were going to be debt free in the near future x

Hi all,

Not much to report here, bagged up some old clothes ready to take to the rag and phone man, probably wont get much but beats just dropping them off at the charity shop - made a PAD to the catalogue again and got some other things ready to sell. looking forward to friday so i can pay a bigger chunk off the catalogue hows everyone else doing? xx

Ah thanks Scuff at the moment I'm currently having a nightmare :-/ had a £90 payment come up I wasn't expecting plus regular bills etc no pad today either tho I have transferred 9p into my savings. Got £8 from from the rag man today for clothes so that's something. Xx

** warning ** crazy lady rant coming up...

So I am basically just getting more and more stressed right now, there's nothing in the pipeline re: hubs getting a job. Things I am trying to sell just are not selling. I've had an unexpected £90 to pay which I have had to loan money from the mother to do. No pads have been made. Sky bill is MASSIVE no idea why, so have told hubs to get it cancelled, apparently not that easy? didn't want to log on to today but knew I needed to to keep me focussed, no good trying to hide away from it pay day Friday so will try to catch up abit and im thinking of looking at what dates my payments are set up for and see if i can spread the dates abit more what with me being paid weekly.

You should be able to bring sky down though no? even if you can't cancel it. Sorting your payments out to spread about the months and therefore paydays sounds like a good idea. Hope OH gets something soon (hugs) xx

Thanks Scuff, hubs is going to phone them to see about reducing the packing. He's done it before so hopefully should be OK - im wondering if he got a reduced package for say 6 months and now its gone back up or something and he hadn't realised? oh well whatever the reason fingers crossed it will be sorted tommorow xxx

Sorry to hear you are so stressed! You can lower the package im sure, I did it once!
Is hubby looking for a specific job? Or any job to earn money? Has he tried agency? Thats what my OH did when he was jobless!
