  • Hi all,

PayPal money went in this morning so that's the phone bill paid - phew! Payday again tommorow, thank god!

I've filled my forms in for my driving licence, had my photos took (just need them signing) and also I need to find my birth certificate and marriage certificate which is proving difficult! They seem to have fell off the face of the earth! :( xx

  • Ok I think the search for I.D is going to be a bigger job than I anticipated :( therefore I'm calling it a night and will spend the evening / weekend searching. This just goes to show I now I need to organise myself better :( xx

  • oh i hate it when you can't find something important! Think it happens to most of us so don't beat yourself up!
You have prompted me to organise my paperwork! All stuffed unorganised in a box!
I hope it pops up for you asap :) x

You need one of those little drop file thingy bobs to put everything important in. I found it really strange when I moved in with OH that he never knew where his drivers license, passport, or any important docs were. I on the other hand had bank statements dated 2001... I don't think financial information from a 14 year old is very useful!! At least you made a start anyway :)
Glad paypal went in eventually too :) how are you otherwise? xx

  • Well hubs just found the marriage certificate - yay! And it's not a very MSE thing to do but just ordered a new birth certificate online :-/ cost £9 but doesn't arrive for another 3 weeks or so! The original will no doubt turn up tommorow :(

I have a little box actually with a tab per month and additional tabs. Think I need to organise it and start using it again! I just have piles of crap all over lol

Otherwise I pretty good - got a letter regarding some national insurance I apparently owe from when I was 'self employed' - I did Avon for a few weeks and earnt a pittance so will be questioning this!

How's everyone else? I'm on my phone so struggling to check into everyone's diaries tonight xxx

I don't think I've ever seen my birth certificate... I might not even be Scuff!! (Resemblance to Poppa Scuff is too close for this to be the case! :o)
My tabs are all sorted by 'thing' like 'car' 'credit cards' 'uni' and then 'other' that all the random but actually really important goes into. I tend to find that helps me to find stuff in a hurry. They seem to try to charge you tax and NI unless you contend it, but if you earnt below the limit then they're talking poop! I don't know how you read it on your phone all the time, I can only do it for about 5 mins then i get annoyed with hitting the wrong bit on the screen, and give up!

  • Thanks Scuff, I used to have a box like that many years ago, then I change to a lever arch file with dividers in but that got very full, very quickly lol I will make it my weekend mission to get organised again, I have old letters and alsorts just in piles all around the house! Not good! Used to have a shredder too but that broke! So maybe need to buy a new one! - we'll see :)

I'm on my phone again this morning, it's so rubbish but sometimes it's the only way to get my MSE fix lol when I was a member previously I didn't have an Internet phone and I think that's how I ended up falling off the wagon as I wasn't able to get on daily!

Anyway, I'm off to work now - have a lovely Friday everyone! Xx
