If they had a mobile site it'd be loads easier, the 'buttons' are just too small for touch screen I end up getting so angry!!

Hey maybe you'll find your birth cert in all the sorting :rotfl: that wouldn't be funny now you've just paid for a new one (maybe a little bit funny...)

Hey homemade, I know exactly how you feel, and then you see people who are like YEAH I CLEARED 21K THIS WEEK!!! I can clear 21p haha. You're doing really well, all those little oddpence payments are adding up and I bet you're not really noticing it that much really :) Don't be disheartened :) And remember there'll be other weeks when you have a little more to spare so don't beat yourself up if this payday is a bit tight!

If it makes you feel any better, I've been absent all evening cos I've been in bed with killer tummy cramps haha, and I'm really annoyed cos after meadowhall tomorrow my mum's announced she's coming round to see my new(ish) wardrobes, which is lovely, but the house is a tip and my plan for this eve was to tidy up. Which means my plans for midnight on a Friday night are now to tidy up. Yawn. Tummy aches gone at least!
Hope you found some sneaky chocolate :) xx

  • Well DH had his letter regarding his outstanding balance on his laptop and he did mishear the woman and its actually 253 pound :( that means a £400 laptop will have cost nearly double!! He said he didn't realise it was so much - nothing you can do now as its an old loan. We can only live and learn! So I need to update my signature :-/ on my phone at the mo so will do that tonight xx

  • Ok just dug out my old spreadsheets and amended them - got hubs to confirm the laptop outstanding balance and its £280 not £253! thats the settlement balance! so ive updated my signature again and now my debt balance is over £16,000!! im in shock, i knew it had crept up but didnt realised by how much!

Just wondering if settling debts early helps to improve your credit at all? xx

  • Looking at my overdraft... its really winding me up! not sure how to get out of the blooming thing... once i transfer off the agency books i will start getting paid monthly so maybe that will help as it will be a bigger chunk going in? could kick myself for having such a big overdraft, it was only every £100 for a long long time and then when i was unemployed it got extended a couple of hundred one month, then about more another and then another and so on and so on - grrrr!! xx

Hey lady, hope you're okay!! Don't get too stressed about things :) what does your snowball plan say about the overdraft?? And at least you've only got the one :)
Hope you've got the laptop costs sorted too!
Bit delirious today, sorry if I don't make much sense!! But my hair's defying gravity! It's amusing me enough to keep me awake.
Just take things one step at a time, you're facing the debts and getting them down andthat's what's important!! xx
