    all answers appreciated:)

Does this mean the MIO C510E's software can be used in my MyGuide 3100 because there are no speed cameras on my unit, if so where can I get software from.
Dont want to knacker my unit up though.
Quite a good basic Sat Nav. For info. on how to download speed cams - go to Ebuyer/forums/Bits and Bobs/In-Car Entertainment and look for posting by toon_army9:j

Whats the best Satnav available for £150 or less????

Why can't someone make a decent one that will sell a barrow load?

I can highly recommend the Mio 269 V3 £129.99 it also has latest maps for UK, Ireland and Europe, has a good sized screen, remote control and speed cameras, POI, its easy to navigate and use, and for the money is the dogs bo**ocks. I ordered Midnight Monday it arrived Wed 9am
This Sat Nav is available elsewhere for £249 so I reckon this is the bargain of the year!

From £70 inc p&p. Word of caution, I own an early version of the BM6300 which does not do full post code (it just does 4 digit) later models do 7 digit postcode, I rang Evesham to confirm the model on there website does 7 digit postcode and the lady told me she could not confirm this, but thought it did. The BM6300 TMC states that it does 7 digit postcode so I bought that to be on the safe side, wont bother using with the TMC as it tends to panic and divert you for little or no reason, well the TMC on a MIO 720 does.

My criticism of the BM 6300, voice is a bit quite, you enter destination like you do text on a phone (prefer qwerty), the sat nav holder is a bit weak and snaps off at the top, common problem this, but a bit of Velcro overcomes this problem should it happen to you. I like the controls on the outside, volume, zoom in and out, and the stylus is tucked away in the back of the sat nav. For the money I think you will be hard pressed to buy better. My current sat nav will be making a guest appearance on E bay so don't shout these prices from the roof tops or I will get nothing for it!!!!!!!!!!
  • Anyone tried maplins? They have sat navs, brought one for £100 and got student discount too!!
