I think all that is different is that a Tomtom carry case is included worth about £20!?

Seems a bit crazy, I have never seen TomTom One's this dear. I wondered if the European maps on this were FULL maps, whereas the normal one has major roads only. But I think you are correct, because Dixons are selling the travel edition for £10 more than the normal. Seems that is all it is, a case! People must be bonkers paying Comet an extra hundred quid for a case!

Should work straight away, as soon as plugged into cig lighter
was £136 (UK one) last time i went thru LHR

Not quite sure what the question is - in UK there are 2 versions UK and European, or do you mean buying the local version is Spain then getting UK maps later

I meant if i bought the TomTom UK version - can I add Spanish maps onto it afterwards? Or is it just UK and thats it!!??

All TomTom one europe's have full street maps (not only main roads).

Dixons have the same travel edition package for £199.

Thanks aj9648 - I'll get my TT from duty free then! :money:

You can get the Navman ICN750 for £149.97 from Tesco Direct.
This price is after applying the e-voucher codes for free postage and £10 off spends (see thread on Hotukdeals). Triple Tesco Clubcards points too!
The ICN750 is exactly the same as the ICN720 but with the addition of 17 European country streetlevel maps.
    Bargain me thinks.

Thanks got mine today from Tesco direct. . Don't forget the difference with the ICN 750 is that is has a 4GB hard drive built in. This is a bargain in my opion  :D :T

my wife bought the Garmin Streetpilot C510 from Staples the other day :) - 99 pounds, but only had displaymodel left so 10% off - so 90 quid :)

even better had the V8 UK + Ireland maps - which means you can apply for free upgrade CD from Garmin to V9 maps- but apparently (can't verify yet) - you get V9 EUROPE maps :) (all of Europe) If you buy it with V9 already you only get UK and Ireland.

for 90 quid its a genuine bargain.

    Mark.

If you get a Garmin StreetPilot C510 from Staples for £99.91 at the moment, you get a FREE 1GB Sandisk Cruzer Micro 1GB USB memory stick, worth approx £9.99

It's on the shelf edge labels for all of the full-priced satnav units. It started before the weekend.

It says 'Free 1GB USB Memory Stick with ALL SatNav units'.

I didn't even need to ask, the guy in Staples just brought the memory stick to the till with the Garmin.

Take your receipt back to the shop and tell them they didn't give you the memory stick. If they had it would be on your receipt as they scan it (£9.99) and then give you a discount of £9.99.

I'm keeping this one for myself (might even get SWMBO a new one as well!), however last time they had an offer on which gave you a £20 voucher with any SatNav, I cleared the shelves of all of their Magellan RoadMate satnavs for approx £40 each and eBayed the lot :D
