I should be at work today but I've got another horrible migraine. That's three in the last week :( :(
Haven't done much this morning except put some Lobscouse on the go in the slow cooker.
Our electricity bill came this morning and we're £51 in credit for the first time ever. We haven't used the tumble dryer for ages, so its clearly paying off.Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00

I shouldn't really be staring at a computer screen today, but I'm really bored so I've just redone my signature which makes it easier to read, checked my online banking (no surprises there) and transferred £55 from my paypal account into my bank account.
Just received a txt from DS2. He's gone away with his dad this weekend and just let me know they've arrived safely. The boys were here for their tea last night and DS3 asked me for half the costs of a college field trip which will probably come to about £50 so that's a huge chunk out of my Christmas pot Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00 Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00

Hi everyone, yes the migraines have gone for now thank goodness.
I haven't posted in a while, I've had a few things to deal with these last couple of weeks. My mother hasn't been very well and has just been diagnosed with Parkinsons. She's waiting for an appointment to go for a brain scan asap to see how far its progressed. She's in pretty good spirits though.
Other than that the moneysaving's been going ok. Could be better but could be a lot, lot worse. Still waiting for Ne*t to credit my account with the returned cross trainer. If I haven't heard by the middle of next week, I'll be on the phone Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00 Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00

            Thanks GL and thanks Beanielou
My dad's also waiting to have a camera down (I know there's a word for it, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is!). When you've had the best parents for your whole life, and then the roles change all of a sudden (seems like it happens overnight!) its a shock to the system, but one that happens to most people I guess. Its just my turn to look after them now
I should really be on my way to work by now, but the roads are frozen solid here and one of the mountain roads was unpassable last night so I'm leaving it to the last moment to start out. If anyone says anything I'll just tell them its better to have a manager that's a little bit late than one that's driven her can into the wall!
I've a feeling we'll be quite busy today, as despite the cold, we have a beautiful clear blue sky.
Just taken two portions of spag bol from the freezer, so dinner tonight is taken care of.
I can't promise today will be a NSD. I have a really strong craving for some hot chocolate this lunchtime, but that'll be it, I won't buy anything else
Hope everyone else has a good day!Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00
