Well, that wasn't just frost, that was proper snow!!
My 20 minute journey to work took me about 45 and in the end I HAD to have that hot chocolate to calm my nerves
I've decided to finish early tonight, I don't fancy that road in the dark. Otherwise a beautiful day. No grit lorries out today though, I wonder why that is?
Back later with an update and hopefully a list of things to do during the week. I need to get my act together and start planning for Christmas now :eek:Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00

Another quiet day at work so here I am again.
Just checked my online banking and found that I'm skint again half way through the month (actually, its not quite halfway!). No surprises there! I know where the extra's gone, we took the boys to see Skyfall last week. I felt guilty, but we need some fun now and again - life can't be just about saving money or I'll go mad
Sorted N*xt out this morning. I had to speak to 3 different people but got there in the end. They apologised and said the refund would be credited to my account immediately. The staff were lovely and helpful, but their customer services isn't very user friendly.
Good news yesterday, BF and I won £38 on the lottery - we matched 4 numbers :j:j That can go into the Christmas pot.
Bad news, today, I've just ordered a load of logs which will set us back £65 on Saturday :( but should keep us going for a couple of months. :( but should keep us going for a couple of months.
I relisted a lot of stuff on E*ay over the weekend as it was free listing, but things don't seem to be moving for me at the moment - its never been this slow. I suppose everyone's holding on to their pennies before Christmas. I sold an item with local pick up last week. They made me an offer which I accepted, but now they're faffing about with pick up and won't give me a definite date :mad:
I spose I'd better go and do some work, lunchtime's over. Tea tonight is left over lobscouse from last night, made with all the veggies I had leftover that I didn't want to throw away.Next £0.00 Aqua £470.00

            Hi CHQ,
Glad N**t is sorted- why is everything so hard to sort out.
OOh, you have a log burner, sounds lovely in this cold weather- I'm envious!
 Good luck with eBay.
I care for my parents and know how difficult and upsetting it can be- so I totally sympathize with you, sounds like a tough time for you at the mo.
Come here for a moan anytime.

Thanks for the kind words GL
I'm at work at the moment and its very very quiet.
I've been busily saving money this morning:-
 1. I reclaimed £19 worth of unused Tesco vouchers.
 2. Found that the Daily Mail has a De*enhams money off voucher every day till Saturday.
 3. Printed out a Brewers Fayre coupon for 2 for 1 meals
So, I've decided that on my day off tomorrow, we're going Christmas shopping (BF doesn't know this yet!) and stopping for a meal on the way home.
Nothing much else has happened today. I'll have to go and see my parents on the way home from work, so maybe they'll have some news
Hope everyone else is having a good MSE day xNext £0.00 Aqua £470.00

Hi GL, yes thanks we had a lovely day and had a nice lunch out that didn't cost the earth.
Did most of my pressie shopping but still have a couple of things I need to get
I'm back at work today, but had a horrible weekend due to the nasty stomach bug doing the rounds...yuk! I can't remember the last time I caught one of these "bugs" and felt really sorry for myself for a couple of days. All gone now though thank goodness
On a more positive note, BF and I won £48 between us on the Lottery, so that paid for our lunch and the rest went into the Christmas pot, and, I sold a pick up only item on E*ay which added another £25 into the pot.
Hope everyone else is having a good day xNext £0.00 Aqua £470.00

            Good evening, hi GL
My mum's doing well thanks, she started her new medication on Thursday and already seems slightly improved, thank goodness.
My moneysaving isn't going very well at all, cash seems to come in with one hand and go straight out with the other. I can't wait to get Christmas over and done with so I can start digging myself out of this mess again!
Payday yesterday and yet again they made a mistake with my wages. This time I was £200 down, but they rectified it straightaway though. My first reaction was absolute panic when I thought I wouldn't be able to pay my debts this month. When £200 is enough to make or break you it really is time to get your act together
