No more handbags and a lot less chocolate!

I'm completely ashamed to see how long it's been since my last post. I've no excuses.......I'm hopeless!!! I've been lurking but couldn't bring myself to post

The debts are still about the same and after a lot of soul searching I've decided I have no real choice other than to remortgage the house and sell my car in order to buy a smaller, cheaper model. It's not just the debts now, there's work that needs to be done on the house and no means to pay for it. Dads asked me to have mum come and live with us if anything happens to him so I can't put these jobs off any longer.

I think my application is proceeding smoothly, but I'm not counting any chickens the way my luck is recently.

Dad's not brilliant. He's just had his second round of chemo and is very frail and very tired. I take him for his treatment him every week and do what I can to help them, shopping and cleaning etc. They didn't want to give him any treatment to start off because he's so frail, but looks can be deceiving, underneath it all, he's tough as old boots just like me

I've become an expert at making my money last till payday, it's just a pity I didn't come to my senses earlier!

I've listed a few items on e*ay this weekend but no buyers yet. I've listed everything in the fridge and store cupboard and have meals planned for the rest of the week.
