Ah don't beat yourself up over £3 :) We all need chocolate sometimes (me more than sometimes:) )

Well done on the ebay selling, £40 is a good sum of money to make! :)
  • Hi CHQ,
Sorry to hear your news - you've got a lot of worry at the moment. Hope you more news from the hospital soon, if they give you a plan you may feel more positive.

As for DSs - I'm sure they are great lads - my DS is only 12 at the moment and I know I got it all to come.

It all puts the debt into perspective - I know you don't want to increase your debt but be kind to yourself and try not to beat yourself up about it.

Keep posting and let us know how you're doing.

  • Good morning.

It's my day off today and I have 101 things to do. Not much moneysaving to report other than I received a £15 voucher from Toluna yesterday, so I'll have to pull my finger out and do some more surveys :D

    Things to do today:

    1. Make some lobscouse to take to mam and dads
    2. Clean the bathroom
    3. Clean rest of the house
    4. Do the laundry
    5. Do the ironing

I've read somewhere that its free listing on E*ay this weekend, so I'll relist everything that didn't sell last time, hopefully that will bring in a few more pennies :D

Hope everyone else has a good day x

  • All jobs done, and just about to pop to parents house with huge pan of lobscouse.

Had to phone work and book three days off next week. Dad has an MRI scan and doctors appointment the following day. Mum has an appointment for a CAT scan at the end of the week. Not looking forward to next week:(

Found another couple of items to E*ay, but haven't done any surveys yet. I also helped DS2 tidy up his CV and gave him pointers about how to write a covering letter. Hope he finds a job soon, then that's one thing less to worry about!

Hope everyone else had a good day x

  • Well, I'm glad this week's over!

It's definitely cancer but the reports aren't all bad. They don't think it's spread anywhere else but they're worried about one lymph node which needs to be investigated further, this means a trip to Manchester.

I haven't had time to spend so its been a very MSE week so far. I've listed a few items on E*ay but no bids yet, only a few watchers! Only two more payments to the ex, then that last connection is gone and I'll have more cash in my pocket :D

Nothing much else to report really, it's a week till payday, then I can pay some more off those totals :D

Hope everyone else has a good day x

You must be relieved only two more payments to the ex, it will feel really liberating when they're made!

Hope you are ok. Thinking of you and your family.
