  • Hi Tinka, hi Loz!

Sorry for the moan I'm better now I've found something to do. I'm putting all my CDs on my laptop ( I haven't got that many actually, the ex refused to return a lot of them). I'll music magpie most of them but a few can be ebayed. A lot of them are quite scratched so probably not worth much.

DS3 will be here later so I need to create something tasty out of pasta and a tin of spam :D I'm sure I can concoct something :D

Oh yes I forgot to mention that I checked my Toluna account and claimed a £15 voucher.......:j:j

  • Well, tea was nice. We had Spam ( not the real stuff but the equivalent from Al*i) cooked with onions and served with black bean sauce and spaghetti (also from Al*i) - a real store cupboard meal, much tastier than it sounds :D

I worked out that all three of us ate for about £2 - brilliant :D

It's just taken me an hour to sync my music from my PC onto my iPod, I must be getting old :rotfl:

The plan is to list what I can on eb*y and see how they go.

I've just told BF we're going for a walk tomorrow, we're so content to stay at home we're turning into a right pair of couch potatoes.

Hope everyone else had a good day x

  • Good afternoon :D

No spends today yet, but need to go and meet DS2 off a coach later (about 40 miles). OH and myself were just discussing how much diesel I've saved this week, then the phone rang! Sometimes you just can't win :rotfl::D

The weather's awful here today but at least the snow's staying on the mountains for the time being!

  • Tea tonight wasn't much better. I had some chicken and new potatoes so I tried to create my own honey and mustard sauce which I thought was very nice but DS2 wasn't impressed :rotfl:

OH cleared his plate, but he would, he'll eat anything! Then again, he also knows I'm not to be messed with this week :rotfl::cool:

Picked up DS2 this afternoon. I've never seen such rain, it was even worse than last week, specially bad when a huge lorry goes past and you can't see anything!

Managed a NSD today but I nearly caved and had a takeaway. Instead I subjected them to another of my [STRIKE]experiments[/STRIKE] homemade dishes :rotfl::rotfl:

Tomorrow's the last day of my holidays so I'm going to make it a productive one

    List of things to do:-

    1. Clean the house from top to bottom ( actually its a bungalow so maybe that should be from side to side :D)
    2. Iron works uniform
    3. Finish storing my music
    5. List a few bits on eb*y

Hope everyone else had a good MSE day and kept nice and warm x

  • Good evening :D

Another NSD today......almost...till I nipped out for some bread and spent £7.98 on stuff I didn't know I wanted

Next year we definitely need to get a chest freezer. There's not enough space in the one we have. I had to buy the size that fit the space in the kitchen when we moved in so space is limited. If I can cut down on the trips to the shops I should save some money :o

Did most of my jobs today:-

    1. Cleaned up
    2. Did my washing
    3. Ironed
    4. Went to check on mam and dad
    5. Listed a few 99p items on eBay but left most till tomorrow, after reading on here that its free listing this weekend.

Back to work tomorrow. Why do days off go so quickly?

I've been reading a few new diaries today, which made me think. I'm not going to start a new one for 2013, I'm going to keep plodding on with this one but I need to get my head sorted and set myself a few targets. I feel a list coming on!

My first big expenditure next year is road tax on the 1st March which comes to £130 so I guess that's where I start :T

Hope everyone else had a good day x
