Sorry you're not feeling well MWC, but that's great news on the net worth though. Feel better soon.

    Still feeling grim :(
I finally made it into work today... just in time for lunch and then I coughed & spluttered a bit and came home again!
In my absence, Dr MWC (aka Mr MWC) and Dr Google have diagnosed me as having Aussie Flu

There have been some awful bugs going around, today is the first day I'm not feeling gunked up since before Christmas. If Dr Google is correct it's a shame to get it without at least going to Aus!

Woot, on the finances though, you're doing really well.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

We're already counting down the days to February and planning to start the year again!

I'm hoping to be fully recovered before I visit my aunt (departure in 13 days) *fingers crossed*

Mr MWC is cooking HFW's parsnip, sprout & chestnut hotpot with cider for dinner using parsnips & sprouts bought before Christmas, chestnuts from the store cupboard (probably bought cheap last January!) and 1/2 bottle cider from the family party in August (rest of the bottle to be used on Monday)!!!

I'm supposed to be going to a football match with my dad tomorrow (his Christmas present). My head says stay at home but my heart says go, make memories and suffer the consequences
