muddywhitechicken - I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and that all has gone well......
I thought you might like to see the bread that you inspiredIt tasted lush - the beer really brought out the rye flavour, even though there isn't a lot of rye in the dough. Pity I still haven't perfected getting every roll of equal size! Still, they worked to carry cheese and tomato and egg mayonnaise fillings (respectively) on our 2 adventurising trips out cycling and walking on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Just caught up on thread. Loving all the foodie talk and the hampers. Made some liver cake as gift and popped in a cellophane bag and tied with tag and ribbons and it looked most lovely and was greatly appreciated by the receiver (a greyhound).
Would love to be more creative with gifts but don't use sugar or sweetners which means my cooking is an acquired taste :rotfl:Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I dunno, liver cake for a greyhound sounds pretty creative to me, watty2023: the year I get to buy a car0
