  • Thank you! I surprised myself :rotfl:

    Wonderful overpayments. Congratulations :j
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Spoke to my brother earlier this afternoon. They had been to visit the dog and he was recovering from the operation much quicker than expected :T I'm not sure of the prognosis (I didn't like to ask) but he's had his spleen, pancreas and part of his stomach removed

I've been busy making tablet for Hogmanay gifts :)

Having a bit of a sugar rush now :rotfl:

Just as well as I still need to assemble the last hamper of 2014 and finish decorating snowman cupcakes before getting ready for a family party this evening...

    Happy New Year everyone :)

Beautifully presented gifts - as ever muddywhitechicken :D

2014 has been pretty awesome for you and MrMWC eh? Here's hoping that 2015 is brilliant for you both. So looking forward to hearing all about your holibobs adventurising.

Happy New Year to you both, and special love and best wishes to 'the girls' :D

  • Note to self: If making snowman cupcakes again use a whiter butter - they look like they've been made from yellow snow... :rotfl:

  • I was designated driver last night and I've still woken up with a headache :(

Much Hogmanay fun was had with friends and family :)

I still need to think about goals for 2015 but there will be one about OPing the mortgage and one about replenishing (and spending and replenishing) the holiday savings account!

Happy New Year MWC x Hope your headache soon passes

    Lovely cupcukes :T
  • Thanks BW

The cupcakes were the chocolate Guinness cakes I've made previously with a marshmallow instead of a flake!

We're taking our niece and nephew to the cinema this afternoon - not too taxing but another day where we're out & about rather than doing absolutely nothing at home...
