Making chicken feed of my mortgage

Sorry to hear about your letter MWC, have you spoken to any other neighbours about the noise from the hens? TBH, I'd find the noises of animals quite relaxing, but I realise that other people may not feel the same.
It's a difficult situation - if someone did have an issue it would have been nice for them to come and talk to you - but they probably would have felt very uncomfortable having to do so.
Fingers x'ed it all works out for the best0 -

How about more dulce con leche, or is that just me
 to stupid neighbours who can't tell their birds apart :mad:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Just you GG - way too sickly!
Mr MWC is fuming - he wouldn't be bothered if the noise issue went to court so he could find out which one of our cowardly neighbours complained about us

Unless you have a restrictive covenant saying yoj cant keep birds then there is little anyone can do i think. They would need recordings of a high level of noise constantly or for susustained periods of time.0

It was good to see my brother and his girlfriend - the first time since we came back from Mexico so spent some time looking at holiday photos
They are just about to buy their first home and she has already looked at the MOP calculator and is planning to OP £100/month :T:T:T
She also spotted a very important error in the noise nuisance letter that we had overlooked... although the letter is addressed to our next door neighbour and they assumed it was for us, the address in the subject line is X Avenue not X Road (X Avenue is down the hill and round the corner) :j:j:jMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
