Hello my fellow roomies.
Would anyone be able to advise on where I get the information to ensure my court bundle is filled out correctly please.
I am due to fill in the court action forms and need to be ahead as far as placing the right information into the correct forms and all the details.
Any help would be so much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi All
Not long ago had success with NatWest to the tune of £2575
I'm in the process now of transferring all my banking over to Smile for a fresh start.
Now NatWest have hit me for another £54 in charges!! Is it worth me starting the reclaim process all over again for this amount or shall I just bear it and kiss them goodbye??
Opinions please!

I would wait until your transfer is complete as for sure they will close your account0

Maisy_Mouse wrote:Thanks Edinburghlass, but you'll never guess, whilst checking my statement just now a further £85 was added in January for exceeding my o/d limit by 1 day. I am so cross I can hardly write! I feel I cannot do anything but threaten them with the court. I am very nervous but now so mad with them I see no alternative.
Thanks for the web link too, very helpful indeed.
You can add this charge to your claim if you do take it as far as court, good luck.0 -
NicolaT wrote:Hello, I have never written on one of these before but I need some advice. I have been following the steps to reclaiming unfair bank charges for the amount of £1300. I have just received a letter back saying they wont pay beucase I knew about the charges beforehand. I am a bit scared now because I have to write to them regarding court action now and this terrifies me. I have read all the stories where people have won back their money but I want to make sure Im not getting in too deep- are there any horror stories?
Standard letter, just carry on with the next step, good luck.0 -

Thanks Edinburghlass. So I take you reckon I should get every last penny back!!
I spoke to someone at the Lending Dept the other day and they said they couldn't close my account because I have a NatWest personal loan that MUST be funded from a NatWest current account, so I can't get finally shot of 'em til that's paid off!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. FAO REX
Thank you again Rex for the time taken to help me out on this problem I have encounted.
I have found the file on which my court budle was processed.
I included the foloowing into my court bundle. (all of which I followed as guidleines from either this site or the consumer action group, but knowing me I've missed something out by the look of things)
1/. Correspondance.
2/. latest schedule of charges.
3/. statements.
4/. recent case law summary.
5/. early day motion.
6/. dunlop v new garage.
7/. UTCCR 1999.
8/. UCTA 1997.
9/. SOGA 1982.
10/. OFT summary.
I have looked through the file and can tell you that i did include the 2 letters the bank sent me. I would have thought that maybe there should have been more than that. I also find it slightly worrying that I have had to prepare a court bundle even though I have no court date yet.
Thanks again for your help, Without the continued support of this website I would be no where.0 -

That looks OK to me (you must have used consumeractiongroup to get the bundle). For your particulars of claim, what did you put? (which version did you use). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
