    Hi,

I sent my letter to Lloyds back in January and got a response within a week or so stating that they will not pay back my charges. I've not been able to afford to got to court until now, will that cause me any problems? Do I need to write them a letter again?

Also, are Online bank statements enough proof of the charges, or must I apply for copy statements?

    Thanks.
    EverCM

You need to send the template letter telling them you are going to court in 14 days if they don't respond, if you haven't already done that.

Your online statements will be fine.

hi can anyone help me been waiting for 60days for alliance leicester to give me a decison on my complaint wrote aletter the other day saying they needed more time,i was orginally going through fos but i have heard this can take 6mths is this true ? can i just take them to court do i need to send more letters? thanks for your help

If the FO is handling your claim you need to let them know that you are now going to do it yourself and take them to court.

If you are taking the bank to court you need to send them the template letter giving them 14 days notice of this. You taking the bank to court is likely to take a fair amount of time too so you would be best to ask the FO how much longer they anticipate it might be.

Iam a Royal Bank of Scotland customer. I am a week away from going to court, but the scottish system confuses me. As we can only claim up to £750 do we have to claim for each year, or can you still claim for the full amount.

    Hi,

I recently requested a refund of nearly £900 in default bank charges from Nationwide. I received a reply last week, basically saying they have reviewed my account and are unwilling to refund them. They quote a couple of reasons 1 - I agreed to their terms and conditions when I opened my account and 2 - its unfair to other members. Has anyone else had a similar response and if so, did you eventually get your money repaid?

Can anyone please help?! I am putting my claim through online via MoneyClaim and have got to the part where I am describing the nature of my claim. Do I need to list all the dates and charges in this section? And do I include the calculated interest per charge?

Any other advice on wording for this bit greatly appreciated!!!

    Best wishes,

    Sir Saver OBE

    Hi there

My local court has given a court date and dispensed with allocation questionnaire. Does this mean I dont have to pay another fee? Do you know if there is anyway of amending my claim as I have been charged another 200 since MCOL and I would like to claim this back. I seem to remember something about on a thread but as I wasnt at that stage didnt take too much notice. Thanks Jayne G.
Nat West - MCOL March - FatWest defended - hearing date 4 July - 2300 claimed and still having charges put onto account!!

HSBC - sent 14 day - still waiting for reply. MCOL by end of week - claiming 795 - eventually paid out £560.

Halifax - sent for statements Feb - cheque cashed - nothing received - reported to FSA - paid up almost amount claimed before official complaint registered with FSA

    Hi afc568,
Don't think you can claim all of these. I'm sure it's just excess o/d fees, returned d/debit fees and returned cheque fees.
