    hi

I sent off my request for bank details on the 23rd feb. Got a phone call for a bank reveiw about the 5th of march and got it for the 19th didnt go. today got a letter saying i have a meeting tomorrow!!!

Am i just crackers or is that strange? this letter i have also has a reference no on it if i want to ring them!!

Hm. Bank review. Review my a**se. Expect the usual guff about charges being in line with terms and conditions etc and keep in mind that regardless of any denial they are still unlawful. Remind them they now have only 12 days to comply with the Data Protection Act and complete the task of providing your details in the 40 day alloted time.

    :)

i've got all the bank charges back.

enclosed was a lovely letter saying that they could only go back to sept 01 and if i wanted to go back any further then just send that letter back with the enclosed stamped addressed envolope and it will be done asap.

It also said in the letter that i have now got the details to reclaim any charges and anything else they can help with not to hesitate in contacting them!

my daughter has an account with Barclays, and we are still waiting for statements. to reclaim charges . after watching WHISTLEBLOWER ,I asked her if she had a current account, she said that she used to,but one day someone rang her from Barclays and told her that they were upgrading her to an Additions Account, so they upgraded her account, without asking her if she wanted it, they just told her they were doing this ,this was late 2005,i asked her if she was paying for this upgrade, and she said no onehas ever told her anything about paying for it ,and she had never signed anything, Low and behold a fee of £10 was being taken from her account every month, for something she had never asked for , but Barclays had just thought they would take. she is cancelling this account ,can she ask for a full refund of the money they charged her ??????

She should certainly do so and cite the program as the only thing that has brought her attention to the fact that she had it and it was costing her money, since she never actually signed anything for it.

I dont expect she will have much difficulty getting the money back as I can imagine they will be absolutely inundated with calls about Additions mis-selling. I would like to think they will cave and issue immediate refund than put their staff through the experience of dealing with furious customers for any length of time. We've all seen how they treat their staff :/

Go for it she has a strong case for refund and good luck :)

    Hi

I have received what seems to be the usual letter from Barclays saying they are looking in to my complaint, I am aware from what I have read on this site that I need to work to my time scale and not their's. I am now preparing my second letter with regards to court action however I am unsure which court I need to put in to the letter, would this be any local county court in my area?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thank you in advance
