    I decided to fix about a month ago till December 2013, glad I did. The tariff is now closed and new one brought out with higher costs.
    The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

    No price rises for me as I signed a 2 yr fixed rate deal in Jan 2012. (Gas only).

    I did...and they're not...Centrica is about as French as Yorkshire pudding.

    I thought they were putting price up because the government has made them fund the insulation maf.ia that phone me up 3 times EVERY SINGLE day asking if I want more insulation.... for the love of God NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Isn't it funny how last time I checked all the suppliers were within less than 10% of each other for me, my annual energy use is near £2000, how many things you buy at £2000 only have a 10% range of prices from one end to the other?

    We need emergency cartel laws passed now and some CEO's marched off in cuffs.

    Really? I think perhaps you should be looking it up. I work for Centrica, and whilst there are many things people can get worked up about, foreign ownership really isn't one of them.

    I tryed british gas and electric to day for my mum who is a pensioner ,they wanted her to pay 8.8percent to keep the tarrif the same for 2 year shold i do it ? any help would be good
