    It's natural to be worried about the uncertainty. But a certain crappy present vs an uncertain glowing future is not really a fair contest.

    The thought is often worse than the deed and being afraid of the unknown is more scarey than the unknown. What's the worse thing that can happen Bex? it can't be any worse a situation than the one you are in now hun. ZTD talks alot of sense. I've been in a relationship where I felt/was brainwashed into feeling worthless.Getting out of that relationship was the best thing I ever did. :)

    I've just read through your whole thread and my heart goes out to you. There has been some brilliant advice given but I know it can be so hard to break free.

    Try to think of it this way. We are given one life, each day, when its over, will never come round again and we have a limited number of them. Ask yourself how many of these precious days are you prepared to waste being unhappy, unappreciated, undervalued?

    I know if you decide to end the relationship there will be a few more sad days, but after that the sun starts to come out again and you can begin to build the life that YOU want for yourself rather than what someone else wants for you.
