I've only seen organic bananas in Aldi, thanks for that - will have to keep an eye out! Got some organic carrots and onions from Lidl this week, haven't used carrots yet, but onions seem better quality than those I've had from Tesco.

I have no idea if this is national but I was in my local Asda yesterday and they had loads of new organic/natural foods at pretty good prices. Things I noticed were Meridian nut butters and tahinis (although the nut butters were more expensive than Sainsbury's, I think), King Soba noodles (really good for soups, I can recommend the rice noodles and the sweet potato and buckwheat ones), Bob's Red Mill gluten free oats, enegvita yeast flakes, bigs jars of Lucy Bee coconut butter, lots of organic quinoa (Amisa brand I think) etc etc. Tbh it looked like they'd had the wrong pallet delivered as it was all bunched together on the seasonal aisle and I've never seen this there before (I usually have to buy this kind of stuff from Goodness Direct) but hopefully this'll be something they're stocking regularly.

Kirri, which organic toiletries do you use? Thanks!

    Gilly

Oops sorry not up to date on here.

I use a variety of org/natural brands as I tend to like different products from different brands. I've tried loads over the years and these are some of my repeat or fave purchases.

Shower gel and shampoo/conditioner - Jason Natural (I get in bulk from Essentials Pharmacy online, cheapest prices usually).
Bar soap - Visionary soap amazing for dry hands but find the customer service/delivery terrible. Tried Organic Trevarno soap recently, almost as good and lasted longer, maybe not as moisturising though but will buy again.
Skin care - Green People, particularly the gentle tone (like a gel). Have masks, scrub, serum, make up remover too.
Scrub - Green People or currently trying Pai
Face wash - Lavera Basis Sensitiv
Deo - Jason solid tea tree or the mineral salt block is suprisingly good
    Toner - Avalon
Moisturiser - Aubrey algae (discontinued), Dr Hauschka Melissa, Bloom Remedies Daily Balance
    Talc - Jason Natural
    Coconut oil - Neal's Yard
    Fake tan - Lavera
    Sun cream - Green People
Face oil - Suti (Naturisimo do trial sizes)
Mascara - has to be the original black Dr Hauschka rose scented one (they do another one but the brush it too large imo).
Wax strips - Naturismo now stock a french (?) organic pack of wax strips. They are a bit tame compared to conventional but I quite like them.
    Cellulite oil - Weleda
Toothpaste - Green People or Optima (H&B/Ocado) though this may iirc have something in some don't approve of but better than total conventional ones.
Nail varnish - Zoya my fave. Also have Orly and Spa Ritual do some amazing colours. (Nail Polish Direct do the mini gift pack of base, top coats, remover etc at fantasic price).

I also have various items which I like from Weleda (pomegranate range), Burt's Bees (the pomegranate slightly coloured lip balm), John Masters (all has been excellent, love the blood orange and hair products).

Faith in Nature products are good too, I use their deodorant, bar soap and shower gel/shampoo. Have to get them from Amazon or independents though.

Kirri - the hemp and green tea soap they do is great for dry hands, though I don't what it costs relative to the ones you mentioned.

I don't know if they are organic - but the Cornish grown Cauliflower from Aldi are absolutely gorgeous. bought the large one (and although it wasn't labelled organic it WAS in the Organic Veg section) £1.29 and it was HUGE! and my grandkids asked for second portions of it! with the other half I am going to make Cauliflower cheese tomorrow. and it fed 4 kids and 2 adults with sunday lunch today! now that is MSE!

Just made the trek to my local Aldi. They do have shelf space for organic cauliflower for £1.29, though my store was out of stock.

    Also found:

    1.5k White Potatoes (UK) £0.99

    300g Broccoli (Spain) £0.99

    750g Carrots (UK) £0.79

    750g Onions £0.79

I didn't see anything else organic in the store. Not much but definitely good if there's one close to you.
