Why don't businesses put an end date on their competitions? It always makes me think there's no prize.

I only started really comping today and one thing that annoys me is the amount that ask for telephone number. hopefully they wont send spam though as i chose for any company not to send me spam

Same here. I find myself entering around ones that ask for a telephone number as a required field.

I hate competitions with overly wordy terms and conditions. It's probably better that way, but I usually end up skim reading so hope I don't miss out anything important. :undecided

Don't do TWs or FBs which reduces no of comps I can do, also exact birthdate requirements bother me because of possible stolen identity issues. What is wrong with just the year of birth, but no, they won't let you enter unless you put the day and month too. Also if you enter Captcha wrongly and have to re-enter it, some comps 'default' your tickboxes to accepting emails, post etc. Been caught that way.:(
