Have just remembered - The sob stories!

Do people really think that they make a difference? It's random draw for all that is holy!

In fact I think we should have a thread for ridiculous sob stories :D
    So agree !!
the Heart ones are the worst, their randomly drawn but theres always a few sob stories on there .
Ribena are another one of those companies you have to keep chasing, been waiting for my wellies since august and twice I've been told "they'll be here in 2 days " . The last time being 2 weeks ago , got somebody chasing them again now lol.
But I do love comping although no wins as of yet for October , I have had a good run in the 3 months I've been doing it :)
Thanks and good luck to all :T

I hate it when you have loads of tick boxes at the bottom and have to read the tiny print sometimes twice because the way it is worded is often to done deliberately to trick us out!

This drives me mad when I'm trying to catch up quickly before I have to go do something
  • Those comps where you get more entries or a bigger prize if you get a certain number of friends to enter too. Most people I know will enter anyway.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:

Just thought of another - boxes for opting out that are so badly worded that you don't know if you are supposed to uncheck the box, or tick it if you want to opt out.

Yes I mentioned this before - I think the companies try to catch us out to receive their spam!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I hate the comps like Daisy Green where they send you an email asking you to confirm your entry then another one to say your entry has been confirmed! Think of all the virtual trees they are killing!

People who bully and harass about the same old comping issues, instead of respecting forum users enough to just agree to disagree.

Yes, I agree - it is awful to see and experience :(
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • When you enter a competition and someone posts later to say that it is a dupe, and you check their link only to find you have already entered and it's a great prize and one entry only! Grrrr!

2)"I'd like to win this bottle of shower gel because my house has fallen down, I'm an orphan and my gerbil's just died." It's like the Monty Python Yorkshiremen sketch, over the most ridiculously small prizes.

    New one today:

People who are Admin of a group on facebook (comping ones) and think they are God and everyone has to obey their rules otherwise they'll be in BIG trouble!

Remind me, when was comping supposed to be like this??
    Thanks to all posters :A
