Uni vs' The Beast Pt 2

Hello All, first week gone well. A few of the people I worked with before have gone and not under the best circumstances (another had a m/c at 5 months). I have an interview for a perm job this coming week. Told my boss and he's said instead of taking time off (unpaid) I can make the time up (I need to take for my interview). Had a few vouchers come through the post this week, so today managed free pant liners, make-up, fizzy stuff, pizza and a shopping voucher for £10.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Yay! Glad first week has gone well!
Really pleased for you uni. Great that your boss is allowing you to make up the time taken off for interview. That's good. Fingers crossed for the perm interview too

well perm interview went ok, they are talking about making the role contract though (which isn't good news). Up'd my 2014 total by a bit through ebay/reward/lottery. So thats added to my total. The extra is now going towards my debt rather than bills. OH is still job hunting and is driving me nuts as he hates being out of work. He gets stir-crazy after 2 days!

Fine - not stressed coz I'm at work. The stress starts when I go through the front door at home!

How is everyone? Had huge influx to 2014 fund thanks to a tax rebate and I won a prize in the Grand national sweepstake at work. So that'll be getting added to my isa once its setup. Yes it probably should go to debt but as I found out after christmas a savings cushion is definitely needed!
Dinner yesterday was chicken in a white wine sauce (thank you Aldi), new potatoes, peas and carrots. Trying to be careful what/how much I eat but my weight seems to have plateau'd for now so maybe I need to up the exercise.
My hair is starting to come back in now quite fast so its looking a lot better (lost quite a bit of hair around christmas), I can actually tie it back without feeling self-conscious.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. How is everyone this morning? I have lost 'track' of beast (cc) and its a bit higher than in my signature. I'm working to get it back down (spending on it and not paying off what I was spending, mostly whilst I was between jobs), and really need to get it back on track. I've been offered a full time job, not where I am but nearby, wages aren't quite what I hoped and I'll have fuel and parking to pay for (no such thing as free parking here) but before I can start there they need to do a full CRB on me which will take about 4 weeks. So in the mean time I need to save what I can and pay off what I can if that makes sense. OH owes me money and I know he'll pay me back as soon as he gets work.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning how is everyone? Meant to say its also full credit check they'll do on me. I take it the fact I have debt won't hinder me? They never asked me about debt only if I ever had a fraud issue. Which I don't. Paying off what I can from Beast and the other one. I'll need to re-do my balances. I treated myself to a carpet and upholstery cleaner which should arrive soon. It'll be well used. I'll need to take down my blinds and wash them as they have gone slightly mouldy with condensation over the winter and they are looking quite grubby.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I shouldn't think debt will be a problem, after all you will be neither the first nor the last that has had to use their savings due to their job vanishingMust use my stash up!0 -
Thanks KW, the majority of my debt was due to a bad relationship/a bad accident and trying to get myself on my feet afterwards but you can't say that on a form can you? I'm hoping it won't cause an issue.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. How is everyone today? Only 4 days work this week due to easter holidays. My carpet cleaner has arrived! looking forward to using it, is that sad? Dinner tonight is pie, veg and mash. My weight is slowly creeping up so I need to get that sorted sharpish or my weight will be back where I started! Had to buy new tyre at the weekend as got a puncture, its not that long since I bought a new set of tyre for the car! Trying to get my head around the snowballing site again as I've just been chucking what extra I have a my debts but I think I need a more structured approach.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
