Sorry to hear about your fight :( Everything ok today or still a bit awkward? I hate going to bed after a fight. I've told OH I never want to go to bed in bad form with him. Easier said than done sometimes though :o

Tidy your living room and dining room, regardless of the 'feeling up to it' bit. If you really can't be bothered, set yourself a timer for 15mins per room or something, and just do as much as you can in that time. And reward yourself with a yummy cuppa when you're done :D

I've called the various agencies, applied for a few more jobs. Downloaded the payslips from my last job (as they are about to cut my access to the payroll site as I don't work for them anymore). Tidied out some rubbish (after bringing the recycling bin in). Cooked 2 chicken legs to mix with some wholegrain mustard and mayo for OH's packed lunch. Logged onto Tarot a few hours ago but managed about 80p!

Not managed to tidy the living room yet. I really should as I've done clicks, one poll, cleared email, done job apps and even put away some washing but I guess I'm trying to avoid doing the living room!

  • You got a lot done yesterday, even if it wasn't what needed done ;)

    Better luck today!!! :)

My turn to fall out with the OH last night :o:( The 10/90 rule went completely out the window and I overreacted. He's not generally one for apologising, so just asked for a hug from him. Which didn't happen! :( Ended up me being the one apologising. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah :o Bugs me that!!!! Always me in the wrong and always me trying to keep the peace! Typical! :p

HAW are you ok? I know what you mean about apologising just to keep the peace.

I'm ok Pencakes, its been a long day. Was starting back at the CS this morning and had car problems. Thought it was going to be VERY expensive, its fixed temporarily but will need sorted properly. This will either mean getting an auto-electrician or actually doing it myself as its just connecting a few wires. OH being all macho and wants to do it but I think I might be better doing it myself.

I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I had a lot of running about today. Proper update tomorrow.

Ugh!! Seriously though. Why do we do that?! :o

Yeah all is ok! Just had to remind OH that just because he's in the best of form and wants to carry on and eejit about, doesn't mean everyone else wants to too. And vice versa. He doesn't like it when any of us are bantering and he's not in the form!! Can't win :o

Hopefully you get your car sorted all by yourself ;) lol

Just popping on to say hello. Thanks for the heads up on CWjobs Unix...will pass it on to DH. He is out giving a talk on Aurorae tonight, so keeping busy...no joy on "proper" jobs yet :(

That SS of yours is taking the proverbial...but I was saying that last year and sounds like he hasn't really improved. I know it is hard, but you really need to put your foot down and chuck him out, he has taken so many liberties with you and your OH. It is your house and your life, and he is mucking up both, so get him to sling his hook!

Sorry if I am being too harsh, and I don't know all the ins and outs, but I doubt if I would have put up with him past last summer!!!

Oops, apologies again...but I think it has to be said. I don't want to upset you, I just hate seeing you being upset by him and his shennanigans (sp?).

Creeps away and waits to be told off....:o

Keiss, I'd never tell you off. I appreciate your advice. :o. I do want him to leave but since OH doesn't drive yet it would make it extremely difficult if he left (and he knows it but thats why I've done what I've said below). That said I have had reason for not letting him (SS) drive OH to work in the mornings this week. That being so I am up and can make the most of the day for job apps, tarot, clicks and clearing out some stuff to take to the rag n bone man (clothes recycling place), also so I can get my car out later without a fuss (SS has a habit of taking his keys up to his room then its huff and puff to get his keys to move his car), but mainly so he realises we're onto his little game as there's no way the journey to take OH to work 5 times a week costs him £15 in petrol. He drives a small car and 1.2 engine. Mine is a 1.4 and wouldn't even use that for the same journey!

SS has had a tax rebate for last year of £390. Unfortunately its burning a hole in his pocket!. Instead of putting it towards his final payment for his car or putting it aside for his tax or insurance no...... he got it 2 days ago and the first night went out and came back with a pile of junk from Mr A's. Including 'steak burgers', 2 of which were £5!!!!. Now its ok to treat yourself but they had yesterday's date on them. Now I would have expected that meant he intended to eat them yesterday but no, the door went and he'd ordered himself a chinese takeaway!! So the burgers are still in the fridge and are now out of date. Now I've stopped making him most things as he either turns his nose up at it (but would scoff it if we were out), puts half in the bin or asks for more then decides he doesn't want it after covering it in ketchup. At 21, he's perfectly capable of cooking himself, its sheer laziness. Decided I'm sticking to my decision, he's not taking anymore credit out from my address. If he wants a new car he can either save or move and take credit out elsewhere. Does that sound harsh?

    Today?

    General tidy up

    Job Apps

    Tarot

Make clementine marmalade (if I can be bothered as I have clementines to use up)

    Check bank

OH has given me the money he owes me (£26) and made it up to £50 to include money for petrol. The £26 I'm putting towards the bills at the end of this month. I have enough now (I'm a bit over) for bills at the end of this month if I include my pension money. Going to see how much more I can put to it using clicks, rag n bone, my old mobile, old cd's and a designer shirt I got in the CS that doesn't fit OH anymore and anything else I can think of! Any suggestions very welcome!

    Hello, how is everyone?

Applied for more jobs this morning and had a call saying I have a telephone interview on Monday morning! :j

On the flip side, OH has been told he's back to night shift next week , which will make me doing the tarot difficult (i.e. the phone ringing) as he'll be asleep. He also thinks that he's about to be told the work is finishing there as the work is drying up and fast. I don't think I can cope with both of us being out of work.

I had a go at making clementine marmalade, its more like clementine soup! :(. I'm wondering if it will actually set.
