Uni vs' The Beast Pt 2

Went to friends for tea last night. Good to see my friend but not her housemate. She's nosey and can be quite rude yet my friend will not make a stand (complicated). The housemate insisted of helping my friend with dinner and didn't tie her hair back (as my friend asked). There was a hair in my starter and hair in the main course _pale_. We'd taken presents over (christmas presents) and out of respect for my friend I took over one for her housemate (a small hamper I put together). She wasn't exactly thankful! I wished I hadn't bothered but didn't want my friend feeling bad if we got her something and not the other woman.
. OH and I were glad to get home.
Up about 11 this morning and had a fry up for brunch. Veggies in the slow cooker to make a nice pot of soup. Logged in to tarot but its quiet. Going to have to think of other ways of making some money. I can use the Quidco app on my new phone to check in at various shops near the CS so that will generate a few extra pennies but I really need a job and soon. Hoping with the majority of companies going back tomorrow I might hear something. Keep your fingers crossed.
On the money generating front, I've still to:-
list 2 things on ebay
clear out clothes to go to recycling place
get info off my old phone so I can sell itCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
List for tomorrow:-
Job apps
Call agency
Check bank
Done some more tarot, its cut off tonight and get paid wednesday. Made an SC full of HM soup (carrots, parsnips, potatoes, split peas, onion powder, garlic powder and mixed herbs). It was lovely. Will start clearing out my clothes this week and making use of my fitness app (to help me lose weight!!!).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Unix, do you think I could make a soup from my leftover s/c lamb stew?Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0

pencakes. Hope you don't mind me answering. I would have thought it would be fine. Add some chopped tomatotoes, and some stock, plus maybe some pulses?
Uni so sorry to hear about you losing your job again. Have you signed on yet? That will at least mean you can get council tax benefit maybe?
YOu SS is d!ck of the lowest order. You really should shove him out. When did you last put up his dig money? If it was more than a year ago, time to increase it. All utilities have gone up as has food, so totally justified. And helps to fill the hole. So 200 sounds about right now......:D
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi chevalier! At the moment the stew tastes quite rich so adding the tomatoes would help definitely. I was thinking of adding chunks of bolied potatoes too as I have no pulses in the cupboard.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0

yep that would work as well.I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hello! Quite a bit of catching up to do today....!
SS needs a kick up the rear if you ask me!! Doesn't matter how 'well off' next door neighbours or mates or whoever are doing. He seems to have no concept of the value of money and he needs to learn. Soon! The hard way!
I like your post on the 4thAll very positive! :j

Hello All,
Pencakes, let us know how your soup goes. As Chev said the potato chunks would work well.
Dragon, I do need to lose weight its been slowing creeping up for a while.
Chev, good to see you. Been to see about signing on but as I do the tarot it was a no.. Can't say I'm pleased. OH is working but is temp as well and not getting paid will next week (week's lie time).
HAW, how are you?
Decided that SS can go whistle to get more finance for another car. There's nothing wrong with what he's got and if he doesn't like it he can go elsewhere. I was right with what I said last year SS has not saved a penny for his balloon payment. He hinted heavily he wanted money for christmas and was in a mood when it didn't happen. It means he needs to save every penny he can before the end of the month. He's taken this week off so he doesn't have to spend out on petrol. I think he was counting on taking OH to work this week to give him £15 but to keep me in a routine I'm doing it. Although.....
OH is off today he was supposed to be seeing the surgeon today but they got the answer on sat. So today was cancelled. He swithered about whether to go into work or not and decided against it. now if he doesn't work he doesn't get paid. He's now moaning that he didn't go in and moaning at me (he moaned when I said I would call the agency today and then didn't call them straight away.....I'd just woken up and was telling him what I needed to do today not that instant!).
Off to do some tarot. Back later.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Morning All, had row with OH last night. Had vent on tough thread but still feeling carp.
Got a bit of tarot done yesterday, not as much as I would have liked (due to OH ranting, therefore I couldn't concentrate).
Jobs for today?:
Check bank (CT due out)
Phone various agencies (and submit one application)
Tarot
Tidy living room and dining room if I feel up to it
..... and make myself some breakfast, not had anything yet.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
