I hate seeing waste HAW.
Well I called about my MRI. They won't give me the results over the phone, thats after confirming D.O.B. full name, place of birth etc. I just want to know.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Standard security/confidentiality procedures I imagine. Do you have to call in to get the results or they writing out to you?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

Morning All :hello:
How is everyone? Its cold here today. Decided to wear one of the scarves I knitted a while ago today its nice and snuggly.
MRI? I've been told they can't give me any information at all over the phone. The results will go to the consultant and they'll write to me. This goes totally against what I was told when I had the scan (nearly 4 weeks ago) that the results would be available from my GP in about 10 days. The hospital I went to for the scan 'forgot' to send my results over to my local hospital (awful place they threw up to replace an aging edwardian hospital which has no space for anything unlike the old hospital which has 40 acres!) so you can imagine how upset I was.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Sorry had to nip away for a second. I got some HM christmas cards started last night. I was going to make lots of different types but think I'll just stick to the one design but different colours. I don't think I have time to start making lots of different ones. Hopefully no one will mind.
Wrapped 2 presents last night, still got lots to go but slowly making a dent in it.
OH was in a moany mood last night and I really couldn't be bothered. SS was supposed to have done something yesterday morning when he got home and he didn't. Now it was something really important. OH just didn't want to know and then went in a huff. Sorry but it was really important and !!!!!! he's nearly 22 its called responsibility. He got asked by OH 30 mins before he got home to do this. SS was out the door last night (to work) before I could say to him. Where was OH? ...... Sleeping on the sofa. Fed up him saying he's so tired. ....So am I. I work the same hours as he does. Its me that makes dinner (not him), it was me that made up the packed lunches for the next few days (not him). He just comes home, has a shower, eats and goes to sleep. He's also moaning about Christmas presents yet again! Sensible says he could put them on his credit card and pay it off before the interest hits, nope he doesn't want to do that. That to me would be the most sensible, instead of moaning constantly about it!
He also moaned at me last night about food to take to work. Now we're both temps so both get a daily food allowance yet it was me spending all mine on micerowave meals for his lunches and having sandwiches for myself (no microwaves here) as its me that does all the shopping before I pick him up from work. The penny finally dropped last night when I said to him the food allowance is money I never see!
So all in all in was in a **** of a mood last night and if he carries on like this I'll go to Gran's on my own for Christmas Day. I know what's bugging him its SD's birthday tomorrow, but he's not willing to admit it. She's not bothering about him so why is he still letting her get to him? SIL has told him if one of her kids did to her what SD has done to him and us (SS included) she would cut them off without a second thought. Evil like that doesn't mature or change. Now I'm not a parent (you all know I'd love to be but the debt needs to go first, and thanks to SD she landed us with more asking OH to buy her a huge plasma tv, saying she would pay it up then selling itand expecting us to pay for it. It caused no end of bother and we're only now nearly finished paying that off), but is it that easy to shut off from your own (adult by the way) child after so much misery?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. COLD morning and happy hump day!
My fingers were so cold this morning they actually hurtHad to wear 2 pairs of gloves walking in plus constant clenching and unclenching my fists to keep the blood flowing!
Bummer. So will likely be a few more days then before you know. That's crazy. Don't know what's wrong with getting your results from your own Dr. Not surprised you're upset!
7 more working days then crimbo holidays!!!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
The GP's where we are HAW don't offer a brilliant service.
What about those heat packs to slip inside your gloves HAW? Lidl had them a few weeks ago they weren't expensive.
I'm looking forward to 2 weeks off. I've offered to come in on the 3rd and 4th (OH is working then) and its extra money but I can't see them taking the offer up. They told everyone they've go two weeks off then panicked in case they needed someone!
Hump day....:rotfl:....... that always makes me laugh. I have a picture of a very unhappy looking camel when I hear that phrase.... not sure why!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I was actually wondering about investing in those wee heat packs. Seen ones in The Works for 99p or something. Circle and a heart shape. 'cold hands' and 'warm heart' they said on them. Cheesy, huh?!
I'm off 2 weeks too! :j Last day 21st and back on 7th. Haven't a choice in the matter. Looking forward to the long break, but it means I've only 1/2 day holiday left until the end of MarchThat'll be the toughie
Here's a cheerier camel for you to think on...Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
HAW, I've just laughed out loud in the office! Thank you, thats fab!
As for the heatpacks, yes cheesy message but nice warm hands. The circle shape might be easier to fit into gloves.
We don't get any choice about our 2 weeks off really, its the pay thing thats going to be hard.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Blimey Unix - I went for an MRI a month ago, they booked an appointment with the Pain clinic for 2 weeks later (we were away in between or it would have been earlier!) AND they sent the results to my GP so I could discuss it with them! (the upshot is I have to see a Neurologist - but that is at the large surgery the next village over so no problems there, and that is at the end of January but I know what will be discussed).Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
