Oh forgot to say I went to B&M last night (10% discount night) and although money was tight. I got the perfume I wanted, some stir fry sauce, sweeties for christmas and a few other bits for just over £5. They had reduced a lot of their prices before you got the discount.

I think SS has been abducted by aliens, he's been food shopping and brought OH and I some cakes home! ....And he's just asked me if I would teach him how to cook something!

Back home a bit earlier as OH is working late, so I have to go out later and get him. Got some tarot done, which is a bonus :o.

It didn't last long. OH blew up at SS yesterday (if he'd listened in the first place it wouldn't have happened) and basically told him anymore attitude he can leave straight away.

I gave OH the thermals I bought for him early. We have snow today and its bitter cold. Took me nearly twice as long to drive to the station. Thankfully trains are running ok. I have leggings on under my suit trousers, but I swear primarni ones must be made for giants and they are about 4 inches too long for me. Never mind I don't mind the Nora Batty look.

Got my SIL pressie wrapped and a card made, Gran's wrapped as well and both delivered. Will mark it off my list later.

Money wise? Still tight but just need to bare with it. Must remember and book my car in for its mot this weekend.

    So I need to sort:-

    1) ni and tax for tarot (I know I should have saved the money but something always crops up, in this case it was redundancy and then 5 months without a job!)
    2) MOT for car - booked
    3) sort air lock in coolant on other car (might mean admitting defeat and taking it to the garage) - added more coolant and seeing what that does
    4) pay back the rest of the money I borrowed from pension fund (£200 borrowed, £10 paid back so far) - £30 paid back now
    5) Find the wool I bought in July to knit scarf for friend for christmas. Its currently buried under christmas presents in my office at home. Which although a box room is so full..... its a quick shut the door before anything escapes. - Found it and started knitting it.
    6) Get everything wrapped and make cards for those I'm making cards for. I've bought cards for the neighbours
    7) [STRIKE]Transfer Quidco money (£2.18, but still) to one of my other debts.[/STRIKE] DONE, also paid in interest from my pension fund.
    8) [STRIKE]Buy christmas present on behalf of my Gran for SS (She's given me the money)[/STRIKE] DONE (bought Mum & Dad's for SS too)
    9) Wrap OH's pressies without him seeing and make him a christmas card.
    10) [STRIKE]Sort out card and pressie for SIL's birthday.[/STRIKE] DONE

    .

Ok, made a bit of a dent in the list. It was nice seeing my payslip for my tarot again. I should get the money into my account tomorrow. Its not a lot but its made me realise I need to get back into it or I'm paying the extra NI for nothing. That helped between jobs and would definitely help to beat my debt so I need to get my butt into gear.

Trains wer appalling this morning. Cancelled, cancelled, cancelled. By the time I finally got one I was frozen stiff. Still having problems with my back. Hoping SS took the hint to get me the back massager chair thing for christmas. Is it mean asking him to get me that? He said he wanted to spend £80 on a present, its £60 but I know it would be usefull.

Didn't get anymore presents wrapped last night, was too tired. 7:30 when we got in and nearly 8pm by time we sat down to eat (bacon, sausages, egg, mushrooms and beans). Picked up some really good bargains last night in Mr M, scallops 25p, smoked salmon terrine 25p, breaded plaice 55p. Had to try and make room in the freezer. So something unidentifiable got thrown out (I really should start labelling things) and 2 small pieces of quiche got cooked for my packed lunch today.

I've finally warmed up after freezing my behind off waiting for a train. Seen an interesting post on FB. SS has been told he's expected at his auntie's on christmas day. Yet just seen a conversation between them on fb and he's saying he's not going over there till christmas night. We (OH and I) had this out with him last year, he cannot just turn up when he feels like it and expect a christmas dinner. He moaned last year that eating at 4 was too early, we said thats how she does it (My Gran does hers for 1pm). So i'm going to have to have a word with OH. Queue another drama from SS. Lovely.

Oh the reason he doesn't come to my Gran's? He expects to be able to drink alcohol with his christmas dinner, when we said we weren't playing taxi driver for him (meant following him to his friends 30 miles away, drop his car off, drive another 20 miles to my Gran's, let him drink, drive him back to his friends and then home.... no way) he went in the huff and said some rotten things so he got told 2 years ago he could go to his auntie's on christmas day (she'd wanted all of us over).
