Thanks HAW, Maddie. OH bought me a bolt of willow from IKEA. Most of it is too thick to use but I can use some of it. I'm determined my next make will be a laundry basket for under the bed. The current plastic one is on its last legs (cracked etc) but I don't have space for a freestanding laundry basket. So once i can find some more material I'll get to work (oh and time!). I ordered a small bodkin from Ebay which should be enough to get me started as I already have a craft knife.
OH is nagging me to go back to the previous hair colour I had. I changed as i was fed up putting so much heavy chemicals through my hair. My hairdresser put a temporary chestnut colour through my hair but its refusing to budge! My hair is in much better condition though. I am so tempted to buy the shampoo that lightens your hair but its so expensive.
Money wise it'll be tight this week. We went to see my Gran on thursday instead of sunday there so I'll need to put the money on her shopping card before I get it iyswim (I get a discount). I'll get the money back this sunday but it will make things a little tight. But I wouldn't see my Gran go without. The money is a little short as I've had a few days off over the last few weeks. The joys of being a temp worker I guess. I'm off this friday as well but I'm looking forward to that. I know it'll mean yet another week (next week) without a full week's wage but it needs to be done.
As for cc's it'll need to be normal payments this week. Once I have a little extra I'll fling it to them. I have a piggy bank I save 20p in at home and its almost full. I meant to empty it last week and take it to the bank but the way I was feeling it was the last thing on my mind.
Tea tonight is bacon rolls as I have rolls I'd bought for the weekend that need used. I'll also need to remember and take stuff out of the freezer for tomorrow night's tea. I really need to empty some stuff out my freezer as I have no idea exactly whats in it! I know there's still a tier of our wedding cake in there (3 years) and I'd hope it would have been used by now for our little pitter patter but SD and her antics put paid to that happening when it should have. I'm thankful for a bit of peace now, it was telling on the health of both OH and myself.

Morning All, I need some opinions please.
I have fri afternoon booked off (please remember if I take time off I don't get paid for it), for a job interview. I've just had a call from the agency to say someone other than who they had been dealing with (another manager) has accepted an internal candidate for the job. Now if I cancel my afternoon off I'm worried it'll look funny iyswim i.e. they'll know it was for a job interview. The agency have left a message for the other manager who I was supposed to be speaking to, to find out whats going on. I'm a bit angry..... well upset actually as it would be nice for once for stuff to work out for me. But if I'm going to cancel my afternoon off I need to do it soon.
Now don't get me wrong I could put an afternoon off to good use. I could go see my friends in the CS shop I volunteered in (I don't get a chance to do this at weekend as I'm always running about and its only a few minutes away from the train station I get into, but the shop is shut by time I finnish my normal day) and pick up some new (new to me) clothes and stuff for my Mum's friend (she wants stuff for her daughter). Wrap OH's presents, make a start on HM christmas cards and start a new basket. ...... But since I'm basically losing money to take time off its nagging at me.
...... Help! What do I do?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Just say your plans have changed and cancel it, they don't know for sure what you were going to do, could've been hospital or docs for all they know.
