I'm not very crafty, but I will happily get stuck in! How about a craft and F1 business?? It'd cater for a very niche market!:rotfl:Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0

Hi All, I ended up asking for a half day on friday as I really wasn't feeling well. It didn't go down well but I had the letter that proved I'd been at hospital on the thurs so they can't really say anything. Although it will mean my wages will be severely dented come this friday. OH had his op on thurs morning and he's doing well. I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow but it needs to be done.
Need to get on top of cc's again. Just not felt like doing much. I made my first 2 tone candle, which I decided to wrap up and give to my SIL to cheer her up a bit.
Right, I need your thoughts on something. I've seen the number 666 now 3 times over the past 3 days. Bit freaked out by it. I am religious but also into numerology so I know that 9 (sum of then 1+8) means knowledge. Any ideas?
Its Sunday night and I'm looking forward to finishing on wednesday already (OH has his second op on thursday).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, how is everyone? Flung another £12 at Beast but need to fling a lot more to clear what I've used this month before they calculate the interest.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning
How are you feeling? I am definitely not enjoying being at work today! Oh well, 6.5 hours to go!
Its my ex's birthday today and I'm feeling a bit sad about it. I always thought I'd be with him forever so I cant quite believe its ended up like this.
Ive still got another 9 days till pay day and I'm struggling. My credit cards are close to their limits tooI need to go home tonight and have a massive ebay session. I have no idea what I'm gonna sell though..
Did you find out about anymore about the 666 thing? I have no idea when it comes to things like that but I do find it interesting.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -
hi Uni, sorry i've been so missing in action over the last few months.
I agree with what has been said earlier about making a conscious decision to try and find positives in things. I'd always been a glass half empty person, but worked with such a negative team i really had to turn myself around or drown in the mire.
Re the 666 thing, hope you don't mind me saying it but you're probably seeing it because you're looking for it, IYKWIM. Things are often there but we don't notice them until we start looking for omens/ signs etc. Just my thoughts.
Glad you got your money back from your friend though.0 -
Pencakes - don't feel sad about your ex, its his loss! As for what you can sell that I'm not sure but I always find if I offer something else as well even if its just a sample vial of perfume the item always sells. I don't know why.
LT - I don't mind in the slightest, you know I value your opinion. I just thought I was going do-lally! You're probably right it is there and its only once I've noticed it I'm 'seeing it' more.
Right, I have borrowed £200 out of the pension money to pay off money I've spent on Beast. I will pay this back but as its been presents I don't feel so bad. I will make a concerted effort to pay it back. I need to.
I'm supposed to be getting my hair done this week now instead of getting the colour done but now that I don't have the silly colour (still growing out though) that needs doing every 3-4 weeks and that what I have now tones in with my own amazing technicolour natural hair (think the coat out of Joseph and that would probably apply to my natural hair colour!!!!) and a cut, I've asked her if we can skip the colour this time and just go for the cut. I do need that as I'm like a olde english sheepdog atm! She was fine with that. It'll save me a bit of money this week. Not sure how much yet as for a cut & colour for me and OH's hair cut she charges me £40. I've never not had my hair coloured by her but she's transformed it from straw to almost silk which is a radical transformation believe me.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello
Some things you just can't scrimp on. Whether that's haircuts/colours. Makeup. Skincare. Whatever. You know yourself if it's worth what you pay, or if you can get away with saving a bit this month.
I know for me a haircut is a haircut. I paid £6 on Saturday for my haircut and I'm well pleased with the resultsBut I've never been one for anything fancy or styles or anything anyway. I've only recently started dying my hair and even at that it's a wash in/wash out from Superdrug just so I can get used to the idea!! ha ha :rotfl:

Toiletries are my biggest downfall. I spend so much money in Boots/Superdrug. Since the LBM Ive been much better, but when I slip up, its usually there.
My haircuts usually cost around £60 (London prices ) but I hate going as Im always worried they'll chop all of my hair off so I probably only go once or twice a year at the most..
My ex wanted us to stay together, it was me that walked away.If I knew how to fix us I would.
Hometime! Thank god for that! :rotfl:Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0
