  • Ah I'm in the same boat this morning although I dont really have a reason to be in the horrendous mood Im in right now. I just tried having a word with myself in the loos and that hasnt worked!

I just cant settle myself down and concentrate. Ive not got much work to do so theres nothing really to distract myself with!

I would be cross with the couriers too, I am sure there are rules and regs out there about what delivery people can and cant do. Especially when it puts your home at risk of being burgled!

That woman sounds like a total dragon. Why is there always someone like that in an office?!

    Hope the porridge helped :)

    Thanks guys :o.

Will have a look at your diary in mo HAW. Have visions of Pencakes giving herself a talking to in the loos. Funny, I just thought about doing the same thing myself! :D

What should I do about the snow shovel? Should I try to get my money back? Or just cahlk it up to experience that I need to check these things BEFORE I leave the shop.

  • Depends on the shop. No harm in at least asking. If you don't ask you don't get. You may not get anyway right enough! If they refuse, put it down to experience and learn from it - and check receipts before leaving the shop! I do that for Tescos and Asda food shops now too!!!

  • I agree, there's no harm in asking, you never know.

Haha, I must have looked a little odd! At least I kept it in my head and didnt start talking out loud or pointing at the mirror!:D

I remember being told by one of my very first bosses that some of the best conversations you'll have is with yourself. I was really worried, went home and told my parents and they just laughed!!!!

£4 refund courtesy of Tesco, which I've just thrown at Beast.

  • Good work on the refund! :j

Everyone's internet is down apart from mine! :D Cue me not having to do any work and being on here!

I'm tempted to throw some money at the CCs today but I dont think I'll have enough spare cash to last the month if I do.

As my circumstances have changes I might do another SOA whilst I've got a spare 5 minutes.

Im trying desperately hard not to text the new boy as well, its proving difficult cos he's dominating my thoughts at the mo! :happyhear

Rather than pay money then not have it Pencakes why not put an amount in a sealed envelope in a drawer at home, if you need it its there and if not then when you get paid you can put this to your debt.

The refund was for the duvet I posted about, not sure whether to go back and ask about the shovel!

Morning All, I went back and asked about the overpayment on the shovel and she remembered me! So yep I got my money back! :j

On a slightly more sour note, work's in upheaval again and stuff's getting canned left, right and centre. I don't know what's going to happen and I'm trying (hard) not to worry about it. .....As when I worry my hair falls out, I either don't eat or eat everything in sight! ....and its been more of the latter lately.

OH is moaning about his job and how he wants to quit. In reality his situation isn't too bad he just takes everything to heart even when its nothing to do with him!

SD has been posting on a social media site saying haha that she hadn't spoken to her Dad in x years and making out like its all his fault. The truth couldn't be further from that (would you put up with police at your door day after day, lying, violence, drugs etc? and each incident getting worse than the last? Tried helping her for many many years but even the police therapist said she was down right evil and loved seeing other people suffer), I'm trying to ignore it. Also found out she conned SS into spending over £150 on her. Nice eh? I was hoping my suspicions would be wrong but they're not. Why doesn't karma come around quickly enough when you want it to? I've lost count of the number of people that have suffered (and badly) due to her. Hopefully she'll get her comeupance one day. The sooner the better.

So all in all I'm in a pretty lousy mood today. :( and feeling pretty sorry for myself. Apologies for the rant.
