rexel, what pills are you taking? Are you saying you've got no Ch4 or 5 on your Freeview box? There's something wrong at your end then, as the rest of us are still getting it. Have you done a retune?
Nothing extra as of today, the BBC2 analogue switch off allows a bit of a reshuffle and also serves as a good warning for anyone who was burying their head in the sand.
I must be on the same medication, I'm not getting anything from that mux either, nor did I expect to until the 24th when the power will be pumped up. I'm in lowlying Armagh, but got an aerial for Divis, rather than the Armagh relay. I have been able to get everything but the utv mux since last year, now I'm just waiting to see if I'll get RTE from Black Mountain, I've a MPEG4 tv from Lidl's :eek:0 -
BBC 2 Analogue no more
the end of an era :rotfl:
Remember folks some poor people in NI have never had freeview before today, myself included as the 2nd City in our wee country has never previously relayed Freeview to its population and not everyone could access Limavady due to blackspots mainly on the East bank of the Foyle.
All BBC channels now available, all be it only in SD at present, roll on the 24th for HD and all channels available.I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
We usually have 80ish channels on freeview, but when OH retuned last night it went to 24...
He had to do a complete 'reinstallation' of something or other (how technical am I?!), rather than retune, and ended up with 120+ channelsWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
120+ channels............ most of them rubbish!0
-
I prefer to have no TV at all, as would OH, but 3 teenage girls have different ideas unfortunately!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

According to the switchover site, I should have 74 TV channels, but after retuning yesterday I have 96. The extra 22 seems to be the interactive and streaming channels.
What are other people getting that they have 120+ channels, or is this including radio streams?0 -
That'll be including the radio I guess. Different boxes count and categorise 'channels' different ways. Some will separate TV, Radio and Interactive ones, some won't. 120ish total sounds about right, I've got a very early Pace Freeview recorder that can't count beyond 99 channels, and there's been more that that for a while.0

Re-tuned last week and all seemed hunky dorey.
But.
BBC seems to have a mind of its own! All other channels work fine. BBC 1, 2 and 3 keep saying no signal. Usually a re-tune brings it back for a short while but we're stumped.
Coleraine area. Any ideas?
Thanks :-)Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Still stuck!!!!
BBC4 works fine.
BBC1 still works on analogue ok so signal getting in somewhere!!
Checked all the BBC radio channels and they're ok too.
Checked with neighbours and their BBC channels are fine.
Rescanned again and they'll work for a few minutes.
It's still only BBC1, 2 and 3!
Help!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
HeadAboveWater where abouts in Coleraine are you, as I'm receiving channels through Divis in Belfast and know it can be up and down signal wise especially here in Coleraine0
