So I got the Tecknika HD Freeview box tuned in and I'm very happy with it I've got all the stations including the RTE ones. And I didn't need an ariel on the roof or in the loft.

All this time I've had a family member going on and on, insisting that I needed an ariel. I had phoned different ariel installers and they all said I need a box, but the certain family member wouldn't listen. I'll get peace now anyway.

Although I assume you're using some kind of aerial and not just a coat hanger. :rotfl:

Yes just the old one I had attached to the TV before
