    Why do people do this?

I can not comprehend how hard it is to be a lone parent, although as my OH works away I do a lot on my own - but that is far away from being a single parent and what it contains.

They also had a "single tax credit claim" - and talked of leaving the little one with their partner at their home due to going on maternity leave on a different thread a day later.

I don't get why anyone would use a Lone Parent situation for a wind up given how hard they have it when they chose to work full time!

The OP was 24 two years ago so not sure this post is genuine. If it is then hopefully tax credits will look very closely at the claim as having another child with your ex partner should raise alarm bells. The chances of getting pregnant if only having sex once are very remote.

i got pregnant after having sex once, and i was 39, so i must be quite fertile!! To the op if you're not a troll, why not try again with your ex?

Also did her partner not have mental health issues and was trying to commit suicide
  • I am actually not an internet troll. I must have made an error when I said I was 24, I was actually 22 - born in May 1988. My second baby was born in November 2010. My ex partner actually lied to me about the cancer, hence the reason that we split up. I eventually forgave him for a while and he attempted suicide three times. We have now been broken up for 10 months and he has been in and out of pyschiatric hospital with his issues. I promise I am no troll - just a stupid soap opera of a life. I have no reason to lie.
  • it's only when i actually read my posts back that I remember what a fool I was :'( I genuinely am telling you all the truth.
