I just use a normal bread dough - 500g of flour makes two pizzas - and bung some dried herbs in the mixture. I have found though that if I use plain flour rather than bread flour it rolls out better - bread flour makes it spring back too much.0 -
Oooo thanks both, i will give it a go later on.0

Well I took the plunge and made my first bread! We were having spaghetti bolognese (Kenny-made pasta, of course) so decided to do a rosemary & garlic focaccia. Used the focaccia recipe from the Kenny recipe book then just brushed with olive oil, garlic & rosemary before putting in the oven.
It was amazing! Got over half left to have for lunch tomorrow too.0 -

Breadcakes for tomorrows snap tonight, must admit i do prefer fresh yeast, the bread tastes so much better and for 50p there is enough for 8 loaves or rounds of breadcakes! Might make some scones too:j Started my weightloss journey, its neverending!! :j

Just pour yourcream into the bowl and beat it (you can use the whisk or the k beater). You will hear a slight change in the note, and suddenly younwill have butter in lumps, and butter milk. Strain out the lumps and put them in a bowl of cold water to wash out the butter milk (if you don't do this properly your butter will go off more quickly) I add a little salt to taste, then gather the washed butter together and pat and squeeze it into a lump, the wrap in greaseproof paper.
HthPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
