    Hi All,

Can I join in.... I became the proud owner of a Titanium (KMC010) yesterday. I won some money and I have always wanted one, so decided to treat myself for a change. I also bought the potato peeler as an extra (I hate doing potatoes!) So will see how that goes.

I am going to give the American Meatloaf and the White Chocolate Mousse receipes a go out the book that came with the chef a try tonight - already made the shortcrust pastry which is chilling in the fridge. Is it better to make the pastry in the mixer or the processor (I have just followed the book receipe today, but any advice is appreciated?)

My lovely Auntie gave me her beloved kenwood a901p mixer today. We have spent all day giving it a good clean. I have read the two books she gave me. Had a good look on eBay at attachments. I have the liquidiser, k hook and whisk. We can't find the dough hook or the cream maker she says she had ( she is 86) so now it's time to give it a go.Any advise welcomed. And what attachment do you Kenny fans recommend please. I fancy the ice cream and pasta maker.
I have magimix food processor so that does my chopping etc and a Panasonic bread maker which I love to bits.

I have both the icecream maker and the pasta maker and use both a lot. I also use the dough hook for making bread, but in an emergency I guess you could use the K beater provided you were prepared to also do some kneading by hand.

Chocolate chunk cookies in mine so far today. Am just about to go and make some pasta for tea however, and might also make some Millionaires shortbread and some bread, depending on how time goes.

Didn't make it as far as the millionaire's shortbread and too knackered to start again now. But did do the bread and the pasta as well as the cookies so feel she has earned her counter space today,

I have been lurking on here foe a while. DH bought me the Prospero for Christmas. I know it isn't a chef but funds wouldn't run to the titanium that I fancied. I am really pleased with it though even though I have only done cakes, pastry and bread so far. I made hot cross buns today. Not used the processor or blender bits yet.

I made a basic cake recipe from the kenwood book but it flung all the ingredients up the wall over me and redecorated the kitchen. Hubby laughed. It was only on speed one. Is this normal? I mixed it by hand the returned to the mixer. Surely I should not have to do this. Any advise please .
