Son likes soft towels but I like the older rougher ones as it make you feel invigorated after a rub down after showerr or bath - gets the lymph circulating!!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

Like QuennieB, I think the wind helps to fluff them up a bit, with my less than soft/fluffy ones I find a quick run over with a steam iron helps a little bit.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Hi everyone ...
I'm new on here, so just a quick thank you for all the tips that I have already found - some great ones that I am hoping will save me money!
My main issue is cooking - I am a rubbish cookand the kids are fussy, but will keep trying:D
I need help with drying my towels please ... I usually tumble dry them, to make them all nice and fluffy, but as I am trying to cut back, and we go through quite a few towels a week, I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas of what I could do to dry them naturally fluffy?
I don't use fabric conditioner on them - was told a long time ago not to do that, as it takes the drying action out of them!!
Any ideas, gratefully received!!
Thanks

Hopefully you have one of those things that lots of folk have called a washing line , peg them on the line on a nice blowy day and they will come back indoors smelling gorgeous and will not only be nice to small but will make you house small nice as well at little or no cost to yourself apart from a packet of pegs My son-in-law used to always tumble the clothes in their house now I snaffle them out onto the line to dry .I even if it showers leave them to blow dry as the rain (unless it makrs them ) will give it a nice small as well.0

Yes, agree with previous post. I don't have a tumble dryer....they eat electricity & I like to try & keep our bills down. I dry my washing outdoors pegged to one of those washing line spinner things. We live in a breezy country & I can usually get it dry (except very cold or rainy days, of course). It smells lovely & fresh and costs absoloutely nothing.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
