I bought a car in 2001 - I went into a shop and bought a music tape to play. I sold that car in 2010 .... and took that tape out. No other tapes went into that car in that time.

Yes, I really hope it's not.

I am contemplating doing one of those postal intolerance tests. Not sure how good they really are though. :(. Following my emotional breakup with coffee last year tea has recent ally been told I don't want that kind of relationship either, and I announced a few weeks ago to dh's horror that while I am not ready to say good bye yet I think cheese and I might be over too. We had a couple of beautiful cheeses and I was excited about them and salivating at the thought but the taste in my mouth left me cold ( I won't use the analogy I did with dh, I am sure you can all create one of something you don't want in your mouth) and i was repulsed, I just felt like the cheese and I ha no chemistry any more. It's hit my favourite cheeses the hardest, I have stil had a couple of nibbles of plain old cheddar and a bit of Parmesan, but......I'm really going through the motions with cheese it feels.

Please be careful lir. I had a couple of those while trying to get in control of my allergies. They gave false positives, but more worryingly false negatives too. Now I'm in control of my allergies I can deal with my intolerances, one was masking the other. There's a few things I know to be careful with but generally it's ok.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Stress isn't necessarily about your home, which is clearly very loving. It's more likely to be about her well being, physical or 'emotional'. Just like loving parents have children who sometimes have comfort blankets or thumb suck longer than they would like....it's emotional security...not necessary a stressful home iykwim.

    .

My OH and I will be taking a serious view of your very constructive remarks and suggestions into ways of improving Tashas well being and we both say a big thank you lir:)

Yeah, I'm not gonna do it. It's expensive so no point unless it is reliable. Paula Radcliffe gives them the thumbs up, and a couple of tv doctors are on the website, so thought it might be more credible than it used to be.:o

Yes, they are often more to insure. Which puts me off a bit. But I would still like a bat mobile.

Thinking about cars, one the occasions we pick people up from a particular airport and take a particular route at a particular point we stop mid conversation and launch into our own lyrically adapted version of a particular song. On another route we stop talking and immediately do the James Bond theme tune. Then at the end of these music compulsory routes we just start where we left of in conversation. My friend Brownie loves this and used to demand we go the James Bond route because she found it so hilarious that we do it. Most of our friends and family are entirely used to this (my mother even tries to join in, and was amazed the airport song was a real song.:rotfl:).

Anyone else have any such driving foibles?

I have a fairly large number of CDs, most of which have been living at my parents' for ages (there is not much space when you are sharing a studio flat! nor much point in lugging them about when you are moving every year). I picked up about 20 when I was last back, and am now treating myself to an 'album of the week' for my drive to and from work. Makes me :D

Middle son burns a compilation disc every now and then so we all get a few favourites on the disc.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I have full control of the playlist :)

I'm quite enjoying listening to albums again. I like listening to whole albums (well, sometimes skipping the tracks I'm not so keen on).
