In a previous job, we were graced with a 'weekly' visit (more like once a month), and despite literally having to run around the rest of the week, we were supposed to drop everything when he deigned to see us. And after he left (3 hours max, more important people to see when in town) we would be too exhausted to do much work, and be in serious need of a large alcoholic beverage!0

Notes through the door, that is how we found our last buyer.

If interested please phone chewy to discuss."I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. What does complicate stuff is that the flat we rent is on the market so could be sold at any time. The worst possible scenario is that we have to leave there and sign another 6 month tenancy somewhere else at just the wrong moment.
Even that is not a disaster for a while chewy. While your oh is pregnant and when the toe nibbler number one is tiny you could cope easily I think. In laws have their little'un in a precarious situation, borrowed tiny apartment, insecure jobs, countries they have no long visa for and not married. ( the not married is IMO relevant in context of them both being in insecure employment for both in a country where the visa and employment status are highly important.....it's just an added level of insecurity in their situation)0 -

Do you still have the two dozen red roses Michaels got you for Valentines Day?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

That's something that goes through my mind when posh cars boot past me .... "it's costing you more mate"... then I realise their car's probably cost £20-50k and I realise.... and they earn a fortune so don't care
Our car cost 3k I think. Or three and a half. Not the worst money ever spent, but up there on the top ten certainly.0 -

Too embarrassed to say what we pay for our cars. I thought we did well to keep them for 5-6 years.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We are not really car people, (dh still struggles to remember the difference between saloon, hatchback, estate:rotfl:) so buying perfect Is not a priority for us.
My wish list for next car would include:
The right size and easily divisible for dog separation.
Black
Heated seats (not upholstered)
Heating
Good CD player (but dh wants MP3 player)
Excellent radio (I would choose radio over CDs if I had to choose)
I would like built in sat nav and cruise control, but when I have the cruise control I rarely use it.......but when it's a quiet road I quiet like the feeling of turning it on and feeling the car join in.
I would quite like a car that did it all, like night riders car or the bat mobile, so I could just sit in it and read a book or something, but I think that's called a taxi in reality.0 -

I am also not at all religious and wouldn't pray but it doesn't mean I won't take all the help I can get from those who do beleive in it. It is quite funny at the DKs (RC) school where school gate conversation often requires discussion of praying for this one or that one...I think....0 -
Grrrr,
I think I might have developed an egg intolerance/allergy.. It would explain why every time I start to feel well and have something to eat I set off again. I eat so many eggs as eggs, it will be a real pain, let alone eggs in stuff. Anyway, now I think i have narrowed it down to that I can try an exclusion diet.
