Beware. Much of that website is most definitely NSFW. I can highly recommend their email as an antidote to the nice gossip mags.

We went house hunting today for a rental as the current place is bigger and more expensive than we need. We looked at this place which we're not going to take unfortunately. It's great fun! It would have been a suburban palace when it was built.

It's got a garage with a man den in the back and a potting shed too. Also a series of concrete veg growing beds. It's falling apart and when the house is made of fibro (a mix of concrete and asbestos) it's no good. I think we've found a place to move to. It's a little small but the garden is huge and I'm a great believer in getting the kids out and about.

Your links don't work, MSE has replaced whatever with pop!!!!

Is it a hassle and a cost to move in Oz, like here?

Does it matter what the house is made of, if you are renting?

The new arrival has already had his linkedin profile data mined, and his employment claims cross-matched with things like Companies House.

I would object to this, seriously!
Does this trend concern other NP members? Would you object to a future NHS mining your food purchasing habits at Tesco to validate your alcohol consumption claims?

I put 480 bottles of vodka and 96 bottles of Jack Daniels on my credit card yesterday, alongside large amounts of beer, wine and food, and do so every 6-8 weeks. (about £22k total) Doesn't mean I eat/drink it all
What if a commercial company makes a living out of profiling your Facebook page for potential recruiters of today or tomorrow?

They probably already do; I know that one of our Commercial managers has been scouring for me, as one of the sites I'm on told me :)

That's obscene... no matter how you try to justify it, that's a full-time annual wage for somebody without a job!

replace the ! marks with the word beginning with b that means a female dog.

It is a hassle and a cost to move in Aus. We're going to reduce our rent from $900/wk to <$550/wk so probably worth it.

It doesn't matter what the house is made of as long as it isn't going to give me and the kids mesothelioma. Fibro houses are fine. Fibro houses that are shedding fibres are absolutely not.

On the one hand battling with minor cross-browser issues as I rebuild my thing.... on the other hand 's0d it' I can let it go and add those fixes to the long end of the To Do List.

It's a very slow build.... very slow.... looking at about 3000 individual blocks of information that each need settings checking/tweaking individually - along with aborted trials of stuff where I tweak then bin it/change my mind/start again.

Getting close to something that's "passable" as a promotable site, if only I can get darned Adsense working right.... my defunct adserver spoilt me as it 'just simply worked'

    £612 to £375.

Blimey ..... sometimes I am staggered how others live. Your new, reduced, rent is more than the pre-tax basic wage on the job I last lost :)
