Would it not be the best to get a taxi home and keep the receipt and ask the garage to pay?

Use the safest way possible to get home...

have AA and will decide to see what's wrong. Need to ring the car sales place tomorrow and see what they say depending on what is wrong with the car

Maybe the nice 'AA man will be the nice man that can' take you and your car home or perhaps your policy is roadside only, keep everyone up'to'date please...

i have the roadside relay so it will bring me home. last one was a tow home. i could do with just having to drive it home. and then calling the car sales place tomorrow.

The garage that sold the car to you should now be very embarrased indeed and give you the choice of an exchange vehicle, do you have their mobile?

This is why I was keen to live close to work ... making finding a new job harder. I hate that whole "stuck if the car doesn't work" thing....

As for "get a taxi" - not everybody's got the spare cash to go flashing it about on taxis on a whim.... they're pricey things you know!

Depends how far misscool is from home but I want her to stay safe if the AA nice man could not get her home.

I think that maybe Miss K should wait to hear what the nice Mr AA has to say first. Otherwise, she might effectively be ringing up to complain that the car has run out of fuel.

You are so right in what you say but I wonder what the previous problem was that required the AA to tow her home.
