Just looked at the stuff for snap/save - looks like a whole bunch of stuff that can usually be bought much cheaper by shopping around or waiting for/stocking up on a deal. So it's a way to get lazy shoppers to think they've saved money on the whole.

For me to take a photo I'd have to get the camera out, snap, turn it off, remove the card, find the USB card reader, plug it in, plug in the card, wait for it to load on the desktop, then get it off the card, then put the card back in the camera and the camera back in its bag and put the camera away again .... it's not going to happen for 40p.... especially if that's a 40p 'saving' on something full price/overpriced.

    It's not for me.

I don't think there is anything in the terms about reduced things not being allowed (yet). I'm guessing that Michaels was going to be spending at least a £2.50 on flowers anyway, so I'm pretty sure he's gained there.

Of course you only buy stuff that is on promotion anyway - eg 4x snickers are £1 in Morrisons from normal 1.89, Nutella is on special in Tesco etc.
I'd not buy snickers at any price.... I'd be down Lidl buying their fake ones cheaper. :)

If a supermarket can pay £0.xx to get somebody into their store .... where most will probably also pick up other stuff .... it's worthwhile. Maybe nobody looks at the photos... or most are handled automatically by software scanning them.

Cheaper than 50p for 4? Shame we don't have a nearer Lidl.

Was doing a bargain shop at Tesco last week which is fairly complicated and DW and DKs kept coming to me with carp that they had seen; so indeed if you are silly enough to impulse shop then retaillers may indeed benefit by 'getting you through the door'; but then are dedicated coupons the same who will impulse buy once in store?
    I think....

Last year my old Nokia 631 0i mobile finally gave up the ghost after what must have been over ten years of loyal use and I replaced it with a Sony Ericsson Walkman that I purchased on Ebay for a vast sum of £16 with everything included charger etc, so I was very lucky and got a bargain as the mobile had hardly ever been used.

I am a bit of a numpty at trying to work all of its extras and I tend to lose my text messages to SB if I try to put a smiley face onto the message. Age concern I think.:)

I always bought very cheap mobile phones and used them until they died. The only proviso was they had to be small so as not to ruin the line of my suit.

I always said that when a phone came out at an ok price that was a GPS, Internet, email and my music I'd buy it. I bought an iPhone about 3.5 years ago and still have it. Unfortunately I think they'll stop supporting it in a year which might mean it'll slowly die. I'd like it to get to 5 years if poss.
