Just seen the BBC news where the headline was about Gay Mariage with one R.
Can't believe anyone can do that on the BBC. I know I have spelling mistakes all the time but I'm not a national broadcaster.

7 weeks ago, I had a birthday party, and today I sent out the thank you letters for all the presents. (Well, thank you e-mails, which is probably a bit naff!) Can anyone beat that for procrastination? Mind you, it did take me 3 hours and I did tailor every e-mail to suit the people I was e-mailing as well as their gift.

Anyway, I need to go off and write the 2 letters to the people whose e-mail addresses I do not have. Then I can breathe a sigh of relief!

    Edit: Done that! Phewwwww!

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm off to bed now, but looking forward to hearing from Pastures whether dinner was worth the faff.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Yep. It's lunch tomorrow too.

Wouldn't fancy doing it on a weeknight... 1.5 hours from start to finish (prep, cook, eat, wash up, box up the rest).

But it was nice to have a baking tin and sausages :)
..... and to get round to eating those darned peppers I bought :)

    Happy birthday.
I've not had a birthday party since I was about 10, could have been younger as we moved house a couple of weeks after I was 10, so maybe it didn't happen that year.

Parties were: 6-8 neighbours' kids round for sandwiches, squash, biscuits and a cake... and pass the parcel.
