Nice people thread part 7 - a thread in its prime

In many films, the men look the same to me. e.g. I can't tell the difference between the baddie and the goodie.... and being able to spot the difference between the people is crucial to trying to work out what is going on.
There's an advert on the telly right now - some bloke on that and I don't know if he is:
- David Tennant/Dr Who
- That Peston bloke, BBC Business Reporter
- Somebody else/nobody/a random advert actor.
I'd have added Richard Maddeley to that list except I know Richard's not got a Scottish accent.
.... I can't remember what the advert's for else somebody here'd know.0 -
Hello Nice Peeps!
How are you all? What is happening, am I allowed an update from each of you?!
I haven't had much time to play. I fall asleep when I get a peaceful moment. I'm doing a lot of self development, which is at least a good thing. I count sleeping as part of that!

You see... this is why I dislike watching films .... I rarely understand them and certainly don't want to be watching them a 2nd time (with an explanation) in case I still don't get it. That Darko film.... 4x, with lots of googling/reading .... still didn't get it
Middle son is the same, I usually have to sit there explaining what it is about, especially films like Sliding Doors or Source Code, or television programmes like Cold Case.
He finds it a bit difficult to understand when they are going backwards and forwards in time.
Gen - Maybe I am not a typical female...I'm usually the one explaining :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Thankfully having read your post first Sue, I put my coffee down first. Phew! Unless this is a spoof site, that's got to be some crazy hacking, surely?
In answer to Doozer's question, not much has changed. Still at library, still running other businesses, still generally frazzled. It's been up for a couple of days - surely the company would have taken it down by now if it was hacking. I reckon it's just a publicity stunt.0 -

Ah yes, I remember that one. It is only right that you men know what we women have to put up with. I have used hair removal cream once and only once, to remove the hair on my armpits when I was just a teenager. Unfortunately it also removed several layers of skin and caused burns and I had to walk around with my hands on my hips and where sleeveless tops as it hurt to put my arms down. There is absolutely no chance that I'd use it anywhere else. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
