Wierd - my pc just played a microsoft advert through the speaker although as far as I can see I don't have anything open that it is playing in. I hate it when the kids use the computer, with 2 minutes it is suddenly full of pop-ups and other junk. I ask why they don't use their own computer? Apparently it takes too long to boot and then is too slow - I can't think why :(

Volume still broken on mine, with the big volume sign stick I. The middle of the screen. I have almost cease to notice it, it's only when looking a pictures it's annoying. Oh, and no skype:eek:

Sadly as I know the balance of my bank account I can rule out the former...however I'm sure you aren't an idiot so - could you lend me a tenner please?
Silver's better placed... got a bunch of money coming back that's unexpected. Didn't miss it when it went, it now needs a new home.

LOL, I thought if I did meet any of you (and I prefer to remain behind my virtual wall, don't panic) I would take an age to decide what to wear and how to look, to make the right impression. Very scary, I would worry that I didn't match whatever virtual image you have of me.

Your like that very pretty but marginally unstable one of those mother of the years, no? But with better taste and a great deal more between your ears? but perfectly coiffed, elegant nails and never covered in pet hair. :o. Opposite to me.

You'd be surprised how easily we all got on. :). After a short while we were chatting like here. ( I don't talk as funnily as I write)

It's better that you look like you bothered to turn up .... than any other look.

I probably need to go back to an NP meeting... to apologise. That's what my parents always said: they had to take me back a 2nd time to apologise :(

Scruffy and unkempt doesn't mean "not posh" - it could mean "multi millionaire hiding it" :)

Common Pastures, don't hold back. Tell him what you really think of his appearance.;)

Not at all, I think you were a hit. You surprised me by seeming so at ease, I was worried ypu might feel swamped but you were GREAT and I was delighted when you enjoyed the day, it was the best result. :)

Silvercar - really sorry to hear what has happened. I was expecting a couple of nick-nacks to have gone missing, not that! Thank goodness someone called you. I have quizzed callers in the past to make sure they are the bank. They got really confused! As they were just trying to do some 'savings review' aka sales pitch I never bothered to call them back.
