If I don't have to get up at a specific time/ am not overtired/ hungover etc I usually wake up after 9 hour sleep so I think this is my natural pattern. I usually have about 7-8 hours on a weeknight.0

Most people seem to loose there interest in grammer and spelling- it's as if they couldn't of cared less when they wrote it.:eek:I found that such a problem the last time. I'm not sure if people even care about grammar/spelling anymore.
My worst offender was i instead of I. It just grated (probably because it was in 30+ of 54 applications I sifted through). :rotfl:
But as the PA told me as I was wading through it, at least it made the job easier! Quick shortlist, quick interview, quick appointment
I did read once that a big company in the US used to randomly dump half the applications to get rid of the unlucky ones.

You lot were chatty last night. I was watching the channel 4 mash-up, very funny particularly 8 out of 10 cats doing deal or no deal.lir wrote:Rats.....IMO if you won't do it out of squeamishness or moral repugnance then it's a point of 'ettiquette' or ethics of employment we will have to disagree over. However rat catching os not just something you do with no knowledge. You have to annually rotate your poison, and test for resistance and apply t. A reasonable rate according to the area etc etc. You cannot physically do every job in the world, you can be prepared to do it if you have to and need to.
It is more, that if I had to I would, but I don't have to so I won't. There is also a bit of me that thinks that if you keep doing everything yourself and learn the necessary skills then those that have chosen to do these jobs as careers won't have an opportunity to earn their living. So someone who has chosen to earn a decent living doing something that others may feel is hard work/ yucky/ scary should not have to feel that everyone else think they can do that themselves and deprive him of that opportunity.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I like to sleep 11pm to 8am. 8am is a luxury that doesn't happen often. The kids go out til 4am and then complain they can't get up in the morning, then they complain they can't sleep at night. Then they come downstairs in the middle of the night to eat and disturb us.

I over use the tumble dryer, but never tumble dry t-shirts as I think they shrink over time. Always tumble dry on low unless it is bedding.

missKool wrote:Does anyone know if there are any foursquare/amex deals still on?
I never managed to get them to work - even Tesco.
michaels wrote:I had to chose between the Amex and the 5% cap one as my pre xmas spend card - the Amex has given me 120 quid cashback, 55 quidco and the foursquare / small shop goodies and I can cash in now, close it and go for the Barclaycard 6% deal rather than waiting a year for cashback
We will stick with the Amex for the 2-4-1 flight tickets with Avios.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
