I scored 6 on the scale of narcissism.
I am a little bit bossy and manipulative, and slightly more superior and self sufficient. Pretty accurate.
I am also going to have to delete 'Diamond Blast' from my phone before it gets out of hand. I can't post pics, but for sss555s - my high scores are from 79460 up to 119260
Did I mention that I came out as being a bit superior?0 -
I scored a 6!;)
Have only met one NP (that I know of).
Have probably passed posters from other threads without recognising them judging by the way my supermarket empties of bargains as soon as the other threads discuss them.:(

. It's one I was brought up with. Employment is good, exploitation or not being prepared to get your own hands (at least metaphorically) dirty is not.
I ask people to do things every day that I would not be prepared to do. I would have done them once but I didn't the last 12 years working my way up the ladder in order to do e.g. my own photocopying.
And I wouldn't work as a cleaner for minimum wage but if someone else wants to that's up to them, I don't feel the need to argue with them!
I would work as a rat catcher in the London Underground though - sounds right up my street.0 -

But you HAVE photocopied. Scenario...there is NOOnE in the office....at all, you want to finish something but need a photocopy. Do you leave the work unfinished or spend three mins a t the photocopier? Does the Gf using a photocopier make you feel she is a little bit dirty and beneath you (and I am not meaning whaty that sounds like, I don't care to know that!). It seems to me you are talking about delegation, not revoltion. But who ever knows with you
I am not relating the wage element.....would you clean if you could not/do not have a cleaner? Its not about the money it's about the repugnance and a sense of 'I am repulsed by that as I am superior. They can do it instead. Lots of peoe do it, we all want to at times I think.
I get lots of people to do revolting things. Dh had to do very personal things for me which I find dreadful, when I was very, very ill, but nothoing I would not do for myself if I could have.
It's like paying someone to load your toothbrush with toothpaste. It's funny, it's probably not the worst job. It is a job, it's a good thing. But when push comes to shove, of you have sopme terrible dental issue which makes your toothbrush so repugnant that you would not handle it, then sort out the problem, replace the toothbrush...don't expect someone to do what you would not. (I have no idea why I have used that as an example.)
If you decide to work as a rat catcher you could take the kiwi. I think. He could learn a lot from you.:)0 -
I have had this book since before Christmas, waiting for a hot bubbly bath to while a way a coue of hours in.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bird-Brain-Guy-Kennaway/dp/0099563479
It's a very funny little story. I laughed a lot with the main character, and what's funny is I read it quite differently to my mother who also found it wonderfully funny. I enjoyed it so much that after being desperate to go to bed last night I stayed a wake far too long finish it off in one 'fowl' swoop, and under the duvet it felt not quite as good as the bath,...but a good second.
I just started http://www.amazon.co.uk/Good-Father-Noah-Hawley/dp/1444730398/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1357332977&sr=1-3
After a break from reading I hope i pick something more cheerful to read next. A little light reading with bird brain whetted my appetite and now I am all about books again.
A nice unchallenging little 'train' reading.0 -
So I am still taking random books from the shelf for the train, most recently this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Act-Love-Palace-Theatre-Trilogy/dp/0552154350/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1357333500&sr=1-1
I was convinced it would be my second 'can't finish' (after Les Mis') but actually I struggled through.I think....0
