29% tight. Combination of "said no because it doesn't apply (cereal milk)", "won't do things that I regard as cheating (getting out of standing a round)" and "am shorter of time than money (faffing around searching for vouchers)".Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

15% tight...
Sneak sweets into the cinema though I bought their stuff the last time I went.
Why would anybody NOT do that? They sell skiploads of stuff when you only want/need something light.
And they charge for the convenience of pre-buying tickets online with a card. Pardon? What's that all about?
And if you turn up to buy tickets the same person selling the box office tickets is making coffees the slow way for people who'll only have to block everybody's view as they inevitably go to the toilet during the show.
Is there nothing the cinemas can do right anymore? Did they just one day sack everybody that knew what makes sense and could do stuff right? :mad:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

53% tight - but most questions weren't relevant. Maybe I should have answered those with the tightest answer instead of a factual "no" - e.g. I put 'no' for re-using teabags as I've never bought/used teabags so couldn't have re-used them; I guess if I did use them I WOULD have re-used some at some point..... so maybe should have said 'yes'.0

Welcome back, PN!
Was just thinking today when I caught up with the start of the Dr Who Xmas special that it was set in 1892 when my grandpa was just born.
Astonishing how the world changed in his lifetime. He lived through the invention of the car and the plane and never liked them - he hated being a passenger in a car, and he only flew in a plane once, to get to his mother's funeral.
When I read Dickens or anything about Jack the Ripper I can scarcely belive they were my recent ancestors lifetimes. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I got 33% tight. I think I strike a balance. If people didn't say of me 'He always gets his round in' I'd be ashamed.
Having said that, I've always done the bills for our shared house and always end up getting screwed out of a few quid here and there; so when I switched the supplier and got £40 cashback for doing so I kept it. 79% tight! Some of it is stuff that I've tried and wouldn't do again (reusing tea bags), that seems a bit miserable now (taking the sugar). Some things I still do but in mitigation it's because I buy expensive food ingredients (cutting open packaging to get the last bit out). Two things I would never ever do are skipping my round or putting in less than I owe when splitting a bill.0

Was just getting used to this awful heat and now we are off home.
I also knackered my back yesterday (4 year olds are heavier than they look) and now have 24 hours on a plane with a very sore lower back to look forward to. Sitting in the cinema yesterday for 3 hours of the hobbit was no joke and that was a comfortable seat, so I expect this will be pretty horrid. I have stocked up on codiene.0 -
Serious point here chewy, if you are fetching codeine back with you, check if they are legal at your transit airports on the way home. I think that there are penalties for taking them into Dubai for example. AIUI you may need permission to take codeine into Singapore, but not sure what will happen if you don't break your journey and stay in the transit lounge - just make sure you don't take them off the plane with you I guess.
Hope the flight goes ok and that you manage to get as comfy as possible. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
