What you and I should be asking missk, is what are the desirable man presents this year. I still haven't got my main present for him indoors, even though he's got a stack of other little stuff. Little stuff is easy. I know what he likes and you can take a gamble with something that costs less than a tenner. Anything big though and you risk the "oh darling that's um, interesting" on Christmas day.

My dh is very easy to buy for. He gets excited about everything. This year there is not much ( besides half the puppy). We went to the Christmas market and he liked a salad dressing bottle by a potter there, so I nipped back and got that and an olive bowl. Also, I bought him a tiny, tiny, roman bowl ( well, they said it was roman). It was not expensive but it's tiny:D. In any case, he will love it.

But then, he would love most things.

Normally we buy each other lots of lush smellies, and maybe something more expensive, and have a scented bath each evening and chat and make sure the other is well moisturised etc:). Its just a bit touchy this year to risk though. Just time together is the most important thing to us. :) sound totally soppy.

I think a lot depends on what you do and why you do it. For my micro business IT is out the window until I get a computer again.

On the other hand, I love my macputer but don't know how to work it very well. I am sure it could do more of what I need.

I know a friend just ten years older than me struggles with the screen size immensley and I know neither of my parents could use iot, even thoug it does all they needs, because of screen size and keyboard or touchscreen.

Having macputer and it being so light has made my life indescribably easier just getting round the house. Once I sort out being able to use it in the kitchen it will be even better. And the phone I need a phone that works out there too.

Youngest takes his Ipad everywhere, it has been absolutely fantastic at keeping him calm when we go out, it distracts him so much we can go to busy places.

He uses the laptop at home unless middle son needs it for homework, then he will go on his Ipad.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

It's official. Half a bottle of cab merlot CAN warn you better than renewable energy boilers. Am tipsy but warm.

DS put an app on my phone that allows me to locate my husband, as long as he is with his phone. It took me two hours since his disappearance to remember I have it; thankfully he doesn't disappear all that often but I can get some sleep knowing that he's made it to a friend's sofa and isn't dead. Technology is amazing.

Now I wait for all the caffeine to wear off. I don't have an app for that!
