Enjoy what you have is all I can say.
I've been busy wrapping and labelling. It's going to cost a fortune at the post office tomorrow but I just can't bear the thought of going through a courier website right now. I hope the people who receive them be damned pleased.0 -

Your leaving it late Mrs.
My suppliers are closed from 21st to 2nd so I've had to stock up a bit, cause sure as damn it, I will be called out over the festive period.
I don't mind as it breaks it up a bit.
Can anyone recommend a "nice" song lo listen too?0 -

Has anyone been listening to James Bond 50th anniversary gala concert with the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Awesome!!
Will have to dig that out! Last year there was a film music concert at the Royal Albert Hall which featured Bond music as well as themes by John Williams. When DH got his new surround sound system it was one of the first things we put on (we'd saved it in our planner) and it sounded fantastic. So the one you have mentioned is a must watch. Thanks! It isn't even my favourite Christmas song, but the one I can't get out of my head this year, possibly because we played it while putting the tree up, is All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. It's very jolly, even if you can't stand the singer.
I'm working over Christmas too. The only days I have off this year are Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. I'm even working the Saturday between Christmas and New Year. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I like traditional Christmas music.
My favourite carol is personent hodie and I love to hear there is no rose at least once, but I HAVE to hear Britten's there is no rose, too. It's respectful and beautiful but haunting and fresh.0 -

whew, not much of a queue when you get up at the crack of dawn
there's an air of manic christmas shopping at the moment, even we have to drag ourselves out to figure it out. I may have to pop into Brighton and just can't do it...0 -
Just in case anyone is looking for extra Christmas presents for themselves, I've just bought: http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/qs_product_tbp?storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=100&productId=304223
I know 'The Undercover Economist' has come up a few times on previous NPT, and this seems like an interesting bundleThere is also a free delivery code on the relevant board.
